The Metallic Red and Metallic Pink Dye Module originally could be found on the Cartel Market i Cartel Packs. Due to the random nature of Cartel Packs and Dye Packs, there is a low chance of receiving any specific dye from these packs, it is recommended to instead buy the Metallic Red and Metallic Pink Dye Module from the GTN from other players. Sometimes this dye can also be bought directly from the Cartel Market with Cartel Coins (CC), but what exactly is available for direct sale on the Cartel Market changes from day to day.

When you use the Metallic Red and Metallic Pink Dye Module, it will dye the primary dye section of your armor Metallic Red, and the secondary part of your armor Metallic Pink.

Preview First: Before purchasing this dye, you can preview it with your armor by CTRL+LEFT CLICKING the dye item while you are also previewing the armor you want to dye. Dyes sometimes appear differently on different textures and types of armor.

One-use: All dye modules are one-use, so once you've added a Metallic Red and Metallic Pink Dye Module to your armor, you will not be able to remove it and reuse it later.

Cartel Market dyes originally could be found on the Cartel Market or in Cartel Packs. Dye Changes

The developers released an intriguing statement about dyes during the 7.6 Developer Livestream. We don't know when or how it will affect the Metallic Red and Metallic Pink Dye Module.

'Speaking of dyes, we’ve got something we’d like to talk about – dye pack updates. In the game, we’ve had a lot of feedback about how dye packs are purchased and stored and applied to the character and we want to re-evaluate that system. And so while we are doing that, and before that picture solidifies, we do want to go ahead and make the cartel market sale of 50% off all dye packs starting November 14th [2024]. We are trying to improve how the player experience is around dye packs, so that’s what our intention is until we settle that out. They’ll be on 50% off sale.'

I found this specific dye worked really strange on the normal armor I tested it on - the red ended up dark red, though most other dyes turned out fantastic on this armor. This is what it looked like on my armor - see the center of the chestpiece for the color.
