The following changes are being made to the event for 2025!

All Chips are now Legacy Currency

• As you login to your character you character currency will be converted to legacy currency to be accessible on all characters.
• This can cause the currency to go over the cap – this will prevent you from gaining more chips until you spend them so if you go over the cap remember you can turn them into Max Bet Chips at the Hospitality Vendors in the VIP area of the Fleet!
• Most Chip Currency limits have also been increased! All normal chips are now capped at 1,000,000 and all Max Bet chips are capped at 100,000.

Drop Rates for Emperor’s Casino Chip has been increased in Master Flashpoints, Veteran Operations, and Master Operations!

You can not lose on Emperor’s Grace and Emperor’s Grace Max Bet Machines. [[Previously the advice was: You can now lose on the Emperor’s Grace slot machine (before you would always win a prize or your chip back). Emperor’s Grace and Emperor’s Grace Max Bet no longer will award Chips of any kind.]]

Lucky and Good Karma buffs:

• Now both are 10 minutes long so you no longer need to get them in a specific order to maximize effectiveness on the Emperor’s Grace machines. [[Feeling Lucky used to only last 2 minutes, now is 10. Good Karma has always been 10.]]
• Only removed by the timer running out or from a successful Jackpot!  [[I think this is due to a silly set of circumstance where You can get a GURANTEED GOOD KARMA BUFF by choosing to KILL or CAPTURE the Red Twi’leks crew in the Counterfeit Tokens: Mek-Sha Quest  – but unfortunately this buff disappeared if you leave the planet – and there wasn’t an Emperor’s Grace machine on Mek-Sha. Before, also the advice was: You can get the Good Karma buff from the purple Kingpin’s Bounty machines, it gives you an improved chance of winning at the Kingpin’s Bounty slots (purple ones) or Emperor’s Grace slots (Hutt one). It lasts ten (10) minutes, or until a Kingpin’s Bounty win, or until an Emperor’s Grace win, death,or departing the area. So you want to watch for it, and if you get it, you likely don’t want to waste it on the Kingpin’s purple slot machines. Note that a “win” may include lesser prizes you don’t want, BUT, it will not disappear if you win a Golden Certificate! — You can get the Feeling Lucky buff from the green Smuggler’s Luck machines, it gives you an improved chance of winning at the Kingpin’s Bounty slots (purple ones) or Emperor’s Grace slots (Hutt one). It lasts two (only 2! hurry!) minutes, or until a Kingpin’s Bounty win, or until an Emperor’s Grace win, death or departing the area. So you want to watch for it, and if you get it, you likely don’t want to waste it on the Kingpin’s purple slot machines. Note that a “win” may include lesser prizes you don’t want, BUT, it will not disappear if you win a Golden Certificate!]]
• Jackpots on Smuggler’s Luck do not remove Lucky or Good Karma.
• The effect cannot be reapplied until the timer runs out or it is removed by a Jackpot, so if you lose it you’ll need to get it again.

Winning Chips:

• Like past iterations you can get your Chip back from the machine instead of winning.
  • This no longer counts as a win.
  • It does not play the win visual effects or grant achievement progress
  • All machines have a chance of giving your Chip back now.
• It is possible to get the Chips from the next tier machine
• It is possible to get the Max Bet Chip for the current tier machine
• Max Bet machines can give Chips for the next tier Max Bet machine.

New Achievements have been added for playing on all machines.
