New Augments on SWTOR Public Test Server

Although it wasn’t part of what they were testing in the new Update 7.6 content on the public test serve, a few new augments slipped into the test server’s items. These augments are unfinished, and their costs and even their existence is not at all finalized and may not make it to the live server.

New Crafting Materials on PTS

Corrupted Bioprocessor: Grade 11 Crafting Material. Dropped from droids that harness biotechnology. Can be further refined by Biochem or Artifice and used to craft augments of unrivaled power. ((Assumed to drop from the upcoming lair boss.))

Purified Bioessence: Grade 11 Legendary Combined Material. Created using the skills of Biochem to remove organic impurities from the bioprocessor. New advancements in Biochem allow this material to be crafted into augments of unrivaled power.

Overclocked Biostabilizer: Grade 11 Legendary Combined Material. Created using the skills of Artifice to enhance the technological capailities of the bioprocessor. New advancements in Artifice allow this material to be crafted into augments of unrivaled power.

These three items are visible on the test server crafting trainers for Biochem and Artifice.

New Schematics on PTS

Cheaper RPM and OEM

The price for the rare OEM and RPM material has gone down to 2,000 Tech Fragments on the test server.

New Datamined Gold Augments Schematics

EDIT: I think I may have gotten the materials cost wrong for gold augments in the previous version of this post.

These items are not at all visible on the test server and are only in the game’s files.

The gold augments are likely going to be very expensive material-wise to create. We can’t see the schematics in-game, but I think this datamined chart says that it will cost for the gold augments:

  • CM-1337 x3 (compared to 1 for the previous tier, requires 15 RPM and 15 OEM)
  • Purified Bioessence x5 (new, requires Corrupted Bioprocessor x15)
  • Overclocked Biostabilizer x5 (new, requires Corrupted Bioprocessor x15)
  • in addition to the normal types of materials for augments (example 5x Artifact Duranium Arms Assembly Component, 3x Artifact Dallorian Researched Component)

If you are buying the OEM and RPM from the tech fragments vendor for 2k tech fragments each, that’s 60,000 Tech Fragments. Of course, hopefully you have some OEM saved up from running Master Mode operations, right?

It is unclear where the schematics might come from. Maybe the new raid.
