Ziost Archivist Secret Achievement

The Ziost Archivist secret achievement is a small scavenger hunt on the surface of the Ziost Daily area, after the whole story has taken place and the spoiler-heavy fate of the planet has already happened. With this in mind, players that have not yet completed the Ziost story cannot do this achievement yet! It requires the daily area to be open. Finding the items below will award you with two new codex entries and “Ziost Archivist”, an achievement hidden in the General tab of Ziost, worth 10 achievement points.

Recovered the lost fragments of Galactic History from the Ziost Archive Remnants.

The Sacking of Coruscant

The first codex you’re looking for is buried under some rubble near the Worldbreaker Monolith in the northwest part of Ziost. Head up the path towards the boss, but divert to a flat area southwest of him instead. You’ll find a broken down walker leaning against a cliffside. On it’s side, you’ll see exposed cabling you can mouseover and interact with. When you do this, the walker will fire it’s main guns, blasting a rock directly ahead. Head down to the rock, and you’ll find the holocron containing Galactic History 94: The Sacking of Coruscant.

A Cold War Begins

Found at the south end of the planet, near the door of a closed tower up a narrow path, you’ll find this large datapad tucked away in an open crate in this dead end. This is one half of the items needed to get the Cold War Lore Object done.

In the northeast section of Ziost, you can find a winding trail leading up to a burnt up and destroyed tent with a large terminal in it. Very tiny and easy to miss, the item needed to unlock the Archivist Datapad is sticking out of this terminal, and will glow blue on mouseover.

Once you’ve collected both the Archivist Datapad, and the Archive Data Cartridge from opposite ends of Ziost, you can take them both back here to the Barren Outpost and head inside the southeast building in the corner. The busted droid inside will play the codex after being fixed, and award it to you!
