SWTOR Game Update 7.9 “Legacy Reborn” Developer Livestream Coming April 30th, 2026

The developers have announced we are getting news about the next update on April 30, 2026. Two days!

Hello everyone,

Mark your calendars! We will be hosting the Game Update 7.9 “Legacy Reborn” livestream on April 30th at 1:00pm CT / 7:00pm UTC over on our Twitch channel!

See you all soon!

While we don’t have an exact date for 7.9, we know the next story update will be in it and we know it will be in “Spring 2026”, presumably some time after the developer livestream about it on April 30th.

What will be in Game Update 7.9 – Legacy Reborn?

  • Legacy Reborn Storyline
  • PvP Season 10
  • Conclusion/finale of the current story and expansion
  • Introducing the next story Era
  • “you can expect quite the shake-up across the galaxy”

What other things might be announced?

  • DirectX 12 information/update
  • May 4 events, rewards, sales, etc
  • And the first bit of information about 8.0 features!
