Nar Shadda Nightlife Event Token Fix Deployed

Update: The developers took the game down for a short time and fixed the nasty bug. Your tokens should be restored if you lost them, and it seems safe to play the nightlife event! If you have tokens spread acrsoss multiple characters, you may need to log in to them one by before they get added to your legacy-wide pool of tokens / chips.

Previous info: There is currently a nasty bug that may cause all your Nar Shaddaa Nightlife tokens to be deleted.

  • If you purchase chips, your existing chips in your inventory may be set to 0 and deleted.
  • If you play the quest and get new chips, and spin the machines, your existing chips in your inventory may be set to 0 and deleted.
  • Am I testing these myself? Heck no. I would wait until there is confirmation things are fixed before EARNING or SPENDING nightlife tokens.

The developers said early this morning,

Hi everyone, We are aware of the issues with the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife currency and the team is investigating. I will post updates here as I get more info.

Hi everyone,

In order to continue our investigation into the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife casino chip issues, we will be disabling the event shortly. Nar chips will not be dropping in-world nor will they be purchasable during this time. I will keep you all posted throughout our investigation.

Hi again,

We’ve identified a fix for the casino chip issues, however, this will require that we take down servers to apply said fix. We will be taking down servers at 2:30pm CT / 7:30pm UTC with an expected down time for one (1) hour. I will post again when we message out the 15 minute warning before servers are taken down.
