SWTOR Rare Materials Guide

There are some special materials in Star Wars: The Old Republic that can only be obtained through specific methods, and can not be gathered or otherwise easily obtained. These materials are often very valuable, as they can craft valuable items or high-level equipment.

Legendary Embers, which have a small chance to drop from rich crafting missions, and a high chance to drop from the special one-time wealthy crafting missions from datapads for any gathering skill. They also have a chance of dropping when you deconstructing item-rating 300+ gear and grade 11 slicing lockboxes. They can also drop from Ranked PvP reward boxes.
