Legacy bank and purple artifact authorization warning popup bug

If you’ve gotten a strange warning popup when trying to use your legacy bank lately, don’t worry, it’s just a bug introduced with the last patch. If it’s not  piece of gear, or you’re subscribed, it’s fine to press OK and put it in the bank, according to the developers.

WARNING Adding [item] to the Legacy Bank will remove the item’s authorization and make it no longer usable for this character without an active subscription or Artifact Authorization.

EDIT: A small update this morning seems to have fixed the bug!

Adding the below to the known issues list.

  • The Artifact Authorization removal message pops whenever a player transfers an item to their Legacy Bank.
    • This message will appear on items regardless if they have Artifact Authorization
    • The warning in the message box does not affect items that don’t have Artifact Authorization and they are still usable if the message is dismissed and the item is stored in the Legacy Bank.
    • As a reminder, Level 80 Artifact (purple) or Legendary (gold) gear that will require Artifact Authorization are:
      • All 7.0 purple gear
      • Legendary Implants
      • Hyde and Zeek’s purple enhancements
      • Grade 10/11 Reusable Medpacs, Stims, and Adrenals
