Want to get something cool for another Star Wars fan? Here’s a guide of things I like in the fandom!

SWTOR

SWTOR gifts are notoriously difficult to give – there is no super easy way to gift a friends something official from the game. But there are some options!
1. SWTOR Gift Card via Amazon
Ana Amazon SWTOR Gift Card is the EASIEST way to gift someone a SWTOR gift. It will give you a one-use CODE – you can then send that code to your friend or family member, and tell them to go to swtor.com and log in to their account to redeem the code.
PS if you purchase them through the above links I get an Amazon referral bonus!
2. SWTOR Gift Card via Steam
Gifting through Steam can be more fun as it is more personalized, and you can purchase any of the existing Steam offers, BUT, you must know their Steam name and be their Steam friend, so you need a Steam account yourself too. You do not get a code they can redeem like a normal gift card).
You will need to first add them as a friend. You will need to either send them your friend link, and have them click it, or have them send you their Friend Code number. You can not just know their username and request them as a friend sadly.
Once they are your friend, select the subscription or Cartel Coins you want to buy, then choose purchase as a gift on the next page. You will then be able to pick your friend from the list.

You’ll be able to send them a message with it.

This will be sent to your friend:

Your friend will also need to install the SWTOR launcher, and log in to their SWTOR account through the Steam SWTOR launcher. This will link their SWTOR account to their gifted Steam account and grant them either the subscription time or cartel coins.
If they already have SWTOR installed and don’t want to re-install the entire game, prompt them to “play” the game through Steam, log in to the SWTOR launcher through steam, make sure their login goes through, and then they can exit that launcher before it downloads everything. They can then go log in how they normally play SWTOR and it should be applied to their account.
In addition to the SWTOR Cartel Coins and Game Time, these are also available… the Master the Fight bundle is pretty cool if they don’t already have it! The Starbolt edition is an amazing gift but expensive at $99.

3. Gift Items or Credits In-game
You can of course give your friend and family gifts of unbound items in-game by mail or by trading – just be aware the game will charge you credit to trade or mail items, as it can not tell the difference between you gifting and you trying to circumvent the trading and selling fees.

If you are buying a friend something from the Cartel Market, you will need to purchase the item, move it into your inventory, then wait for the timer to wear off. After the 1.5 day timer wears off, then you can send it or trade it to your friend. You will need to know their CHARACTER NAME and FACTION (and of course server) so you can send it to them. Make sure to let them know, once you send it, they should see it in their mailbox after 30 minutes, and that they need to pick it up from the mailbox within 30 days or it will be returned to your character automatically by the mail system.

Galaxy Props
Galaxy Props has an amazing assortment of fan-made Star Wars props including helmets and masks.
Nexus Outpost
Nexus Outpost also has a a bunch of really neat fan-made hyper-specific SWTOR gifts! I actually bought the rug mousepad and the light/dark stickers and am really happy with them.
Punch It Chewie Press
Punch It Chewie Press is a fan-made art site with pins and stickers. I love that they have unofficial KOTOR-inspired designs… including THE STAR FORGE!
Funko
If you’re looking to add some cool KOTOR merch to your collection, they have a KOTOR II – themed pack with Darth Nihilus and Darth Sion, and a landyard of Darth Kreia for $30. Funko also has a ton of Star Wars merch.
Insight Editions
Insight Editions makes SUCH COOL FAN BOOKS!!!! And they keep making more! Insight Editions is a really neat publishing company that makes ‘novelty’ books and collectables – I first heard of them from the Star Wars Conversations Cards at the Star Wars Celebration convention which I thought were an amazing idea. I reached out to them and they’ve been sending me books to show off and review. I’ve really been enjoying looking at them a little at a time – I’ve been leaving them on the table and both me and Mr Swtorista keep wandering by, opening them up and looking at the neat stuff inside.
Star Wars Bestiary, Vol. 1
SWTOR-Specific Pick: They sent me this in the mail since my last report! It’s exactly what you’d expect with a lot of critters from the SWTOR Universe as well including VARACTYLS!

My FAVORITE Insight Editions book so far. This is an in-character in-universe cook book!! It has lot of photos, and the recipes trend towards the easier side with clear instructions, and a LOT of really fun drinks of all kinds.

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi: A Visual Archive
SUPER cool absolutely beautiful book. This is the kind of book you want to have sit out and everyone who visits wants to touch it and look in it and then they realize that it’s actually 300+ pages of really interesting behind the scenes text, interviews and photos. The preview on the website doesn’t do it justice at all.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE TO COME OUT! It was on pre-order but is now released! It’s a really cool format book – it is long and thin, and each page has an extremely high-resolution illustration/render of over 70 High Republic era lightsabers.

Now that I have it in person, I would say it seems even nicer than the similar-shaped “The Lightsaber Collection Book” of more well-known sabers, not to mention it’s full of more obscure and lesser known sabers.

They also have this for High Republic but I haven’t read it yet.

RockLove
I am a sucker for anything with crystals in it. RockLove runs a little expensive for costume jewelry for my taste, but they make some great nerd-focused fandom wear. This is the kind of thing I’d love to receive as a gift or give to a friend as a birthday gift.
DISCOUNT: A bunch of the Star Wars items are discounted right now!

Heroes and Villains
Heroes and Villains has lots of nerd merch, including more rugged / masculine designed bags and clothes in their Heroes and Villains Star Wars merch.

DISCOUNT: 30% percent Off Site*
Hot Topic
Discount: Buy 2, Get 1 Free Sitewide
Loungefly
Loungefly is my favorite company for “nerd stuff” – I was so pleased when they finally started filling the niche of high-quality fandom merch. I already have four Star Wars themed Loungefly bags in my personal collection (including a Revan one!!!) and I have a feeling I’ll probably wind up with more in the future.
DISCOUNT: Spend $50 and Save $10. Spend $65 and Save $15. Spend $100 and Save $25. Now Through December 18th. Pre-Order items and Pop! Yourself customizable vinyl figures are excluded.
