Galactic Season 7: Dangerous Game Mission Guide

The new season, as always, comes with a new minor storyline that adds some flavour and unlocks some rewards. In Season 7, the Dangerous Game mission seems to be revolving around the  Bounty Broker Event, making it more accessible for characters of a wider level range, and because Bounty Broker will be enabled all season long, gives those of us who don’t always play every week a chance to really get some progress in on this older reputation track.

How to Start

To begin the missions, you must grab the unlock from your Galactic Season track. It’s sitting on level 1 and is on the free portion of the track, so anyone can do this. Level 1 requires 8 points worth of season objectives – doing any of the weekly objectives will get you there. Check the objectives tab next to the rewards track and see what’s easiest for you. Deleted Communicator?

If you accidentally deleted or lost your quest item there are two ways to recover it. The first way is through Collections. After you have claimed the [“Galactic Season 7: Dangerous Game” Unlock] item on any of your characters, on any server, it will become available in your collections. The character who originally claimed it can get a free copy from collections. Any other character (or if you forgot what character you picked it up on) can also get copies – but you need to pay 80 Cartel Coins, and then it will be unlocked for your entire account on all servers, and all your  characters will be able to get unlimited free copies of the quest.

The second way is to buy a copy from the Galactic Seasons vendor. This is useful if you deleted it, but don’t want to spend Cartel Coins, but o have Galactic Seasons Tokens. It costs 1 Galactic Seasons Token.

The third way would be contacting support and hoping that they help you find it or recover it. This however does require you to wait for them to reply.

Minboosa

Once claimed, the unlock holocommunicator will appear in your character’s bags. Right click it and you’ll be awarded the mission. If you abandon the mission, the holocommuniactor item will go back into your inventory and you can re-right-click it to restart the mission.

Once you’re on the mission, you will have to head to the Minboosa District of Hutta – the new area that came in Update 7.5. Just like Section X on Belsavis or Kessan’s Landing on Ord Mantell, make sure you’re going to the right landing zone on arrival. From the Republic shuttle, leave the bay and head down the path to your right until you get to the southern house. For Imperials, you’re even closer, just head up the ramp from the shuttle and the house is immediately on your right.

What next?

So you head to the house, you talk to the Twilek, she offers you a job with the Bounty Broker’s Association… and it ends. There’s no follow-up, there’s no objective from here. Kind of confusing! Don’t worry, you did nothing wrong. That’s literally all there appears to be at the moment. There doesn’t appear to be more mission unlocks along the galactic seasons track – and her hint to go do bounties doesn’t appear to do anything as far as furthering a story or plot – but it does clue you in to the fact that this season is Bounty-Themed – there are always Bounty-Related Season Objectives, and there’s an achievement to do quite a few for some titles and flairs. Is that it? Will progressing further in the track end up unlocking something more story-related? Remains to be seen, but if it does, check back here for the update!
