FREE PET! JR-4 Recon Droid to celebrate Jedi: Survivor release – log in April 28 – May 3, 2023 / B1-SAL Probe Droid?

Oh! Surprise! If you log in to #SWTOR between April 28 – May 3, 2023, to celebrate Jedi: Survivor (“Jedi: Fallen Order 2”) coming out, you get a free little pet named JR-4 Recon Droid!

Just look in your in-game mail box to get him! You only need to log in to one character and it will automatically be sent to all your characters on your account, you don’t need to log in individually to each character.

Remove the item from your mailbox, right-click it in your inventory, press P on your keyboard to open your abilities, then use the dropdown to get to the Pets section. Search for “JR” in the menu then click your new pet to summon it

Celebrate the Launch of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor™ with a Free Mini-pet!The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, from our friends at Respawn Entertainment! This new opus picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™ and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness.

To celebrate the launch of STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor, STAR WARS: The Old Republic™ players will be able to get a new free mini-pet inspired by Cal’s companion, BD-1.

Players only need to log into the game from April 28th, 2023 – 12:00 PM GMT to May 3rd, 2023 – 12:00 PM GMT. Their own JR-4 Recon Droid mini-pet will be waiting for them in their in-game mail.

Some players are also/or reporting they got a B1-SAL Probe Droid for being a “member of the SWTOR community”. This was a bug.

Hi everyone,

This morning, the B1-SAL Probe Droid mini-pet was granted to players who logged into the game this morning from 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM CT. This was not intended! Players were meant to receive the JR-4 Recon Droid mini-pet instead in celebration of our friends over at Respawn launching Jedi Survivor!

Our team has now fixed this bug and players will now receive the correct mini-pet from the Star Wars: Jedi Survivor promotion which will run from today to May 3rd.

All players who log into the game now will be granted the correct mini-pet droid. For players who are wondering if the B1-SAL droid will be available again, don’t worry! There will be another opportunity to get it in the future.

For now, please enjoy the JR-4 Recon droid and Jedi Survivor!
