How to Get Altuur as a Companion

Altuur, properly known as Altuur zok Adon, is a special companion you can only get from Galactic Seasons. Altuur had become retired in the past at the end of the first season, but has now returned as part of Galactic Seasons, Season 10, called Secrets of the Syndicate, which is focused around returning rewards from Season 1 and Season 3 and the rewards are themed around Altuur and PH4-LNX the returning companions. Altuur is available for both free-to-play and subscribed players during the Season.

How to Get Altuur

Getting Altuur is actually pretty easy, but it isn’t obvious how it works – especially since some of the objectives require Altuur when you don’t even have him yet!

1. Do Galactic Seasons Objectives to earn 8 Season Points
2. Complete Level 1 of Galactic Seasons
3. Claim the Ornate Kubaz Box from the track
4. Use the item in your inventory

Step 1 – Galactic Seasons Objectives

To earn rewards during Galactic Seasons, you complete objectives, which earns you points. Earning points helps you work your way up the track, and earning your way up the track gets you rewards.

To open the Galactic Seasons menu, roll over the icon of a person in the main menu, and choose Login & Seasons Rewards from the dropdown menu. There are multiple tabs for this window, make sure to select Galactic Seasons at the top.

To get Altuur during Galactic Season 10, which is March 10 to July 27, 2026, you will need to complete the first level of Galactic Seasons. The first level requires 8 points. You can get the points from doing Objectives in the Objectives tab, above the track.

Some objectives require Altuur, which you can’t do yet, but most don’t require him. You only really need to complete one or two objectives to get enough points to unlock the first level of the track – you can see how many points each objective gives you on the right hand side of the objective – you only need 8 points total. The objectives rotate and reset every Tuesday.

Step 2 – Complete Level 1 of Galactic Seasons

Once you have earned your 8 points, you will have completed Level 1 of Galactic Seasons!

Step 3 – Claim the Ornate Kubaz Box from the track

Click the CLAIM button above the Ornate Kubaz Box. This will put a set of items into your inventory.

This will put two items in to your inventory.

One will give you Altuur immediately, and the other will send you on a short quest to meet Altuur first. You can claim Altuur now and still do the story quest later if you’d like.

To get Altuur right away (recommended), right-click the Ornate Kubaz Box which will give you a new item called a Strange Holocommunicator.

Right-click the blue Strange Hollocommunicator, and then choose to Accept Mission when the mission box shows up.

Then in a few seconds Altuur will suddenly be beside you! Yay! You can now go complete any objectives that require Altuur.

How to Get Altuur’s Story Quest

To see Altuur’ story quest, either before or after you get him, right-click the The Stranger from Kubindi Alert Unlock item.

If you have completed Chapter 9 of Knights of the Fallen Empire, you can open your companions menu (N on your keyboard), and using that item should give you an Alliance alert called The Stranger from Kubindi.

You can either fly to Odessan manually or use the purple Travel to Alert Location.

You can then have a little chat with Altuur on Odessan about who he is and why he is joining you. This is just a short cutscene with no voiceover, but it does explain Altuur’s background.

Companion Gifts

If you have earned Altuur, you can go to the Galactic Seasons Vendor, and the vendor will have three gifts for sale specifically for Altuur zok Adon. The vendor is named Ki’at Thavo and is located in the Supplies section of the Republic or Imperial Fleet.
