You can recover your username on swtor.com or on the launcher as long as you have access to your email. If you know your email you can also go in your inbox and search “Star Wars: The Old Republic” and your username is often in those emails.

Don’t remember your email?

First go in to your known email inboxes, and search for “Star Wars: The Old Republic”. If you aren’t able to figure it out that way, you will need to call support. They will not help with account login issues over email messages or ingame ticket.

Lost access to your email inbox?

If you are not able to log in because you’ve forgot your username or password, and don’t have access to your original email to get emails from swtor.com, you will need to call support. Support will not help with account login issues over email messages or ingame ticket, so you need to call.

Not receiving your password reset email?

If you have access to your email inbox, but aren’t receiving the password reset from swtor.com, do a quick check of your spam folders, and then you will need to call support after waiting 15 to make sure you don’t get the email. This is caused by your email (example gmail, msn, hotmail) automatically rejecting emails from swtor.com even if you never marked them as spam. Support will not help with account login issues over email messages or ingame ticket, so you need to call.

Not receiving your one-time password email?

If you have access to your email inbox, but aren’t receiving the password reset from swtor.com, do a quick check of your spam folders, and then you will need to call support after waiting 15 to make sure you don’t get the email. This is caused by your email (example gmail, msn, hotmail) automatically rejecting emails from swtor.com even if you never marked them as spam. One-time passwords are a way of making sure that it’s the real you trying to access your account if you use a different computer or take a break from the game. Support will not help with account login issues over email messages or ingame ticket, so you need to call. It’s a very short and easy call and I’ve had to do it a few times before!

The password is correct but you can’t log in – but you have an origin.com account

Especially if you have an older swtor.com account, your Origin account and SWTOR account may have become unsynced. Try resetting your password on origin.com. This is very uncommon but I’ve had it happen years ago.

It says “Login Failed” but doesn’t say why

You will need to call support. Support will not help with account login issues over email messages or ingame ticket, so you need to call.

Infinite Login Loading Screen

Account is banned?

If your account has been banned or disabled even if you have not broken any rules, there is a good chance it has to do with some type of billing issue. The most common mistakes players make are cancelling their SWTOR bill through their credit card (instead of through swtor.com) whichs flags SWTOR as a suspicious company by credit card companies, your credit card failing, or by paying for a subscription with a credit card whose country does not match which flags your account as suspicious. These issues are far more difficult to fix. The first step is to email swtoraccountdisputes@bioware.com and wait, sometimes a few days and sometimes weeks. Normal customer support will often not help with account disputes at all will not help with account disputes, but you can always try calling, though they most likely will not be able to help you.
