Outfit: Arke Exile – The Harbinger

This outfit has been a work in progress over the last three KotFE chapters. I kept noticing that what Arke was wearing just didn’t work within the story. Eternal Championship really sealed it for me and that’s when I started working on something a bit more casual for her. Of course, then Chapter 14 hit and I really wished she was more armored while working with the Mandalorians….which makes me think I should really should have created different outfits for each chapter. Trooper Arke, Hunter Arke, Smuggler Arke, Revolutionary Arke. Too bad I don’t have enough outfit slots left.

I am not yet 100% pleased with this outfit and am somewhat embarrassed by how much it cost.

The jacket clips with her braid, but I don’t like the other updos and I didn’t want to cut her hair just so it will work with this outfit. The only other jacket I really like is Drelliad, but it’s smuggler/knight only. I love the original red on the jacket, but I am not willing to give up the purple lightsaber crystal and it clashes. Also, cut scenes look funny with Theron wearing the exact same thing.

I hate that the bracers color match darker than the jacket, but I love the buckles. I tried deep purple, but then they were too light. I may yet change it to something else entirely, like black to match the gloves.

I am not a big fan of the crossguard on the double-bladed lightsaber, but I really like the crystal showing in the middle. The other sabers that have that sit too low, so I’m sticking with this one for now. I have the lightning tuning because it’s the only one I like, but it’s a bit distracting and may not last long.

I’m still up in the air on the gloves. I love gloves with the fingers cut out, but I needed something more substantial than Canderous Ordo to offset how bulky the boots are.

I really wanted to use my new favorite boots, Unshakable Trooper, because you can make the boots look like shoes with shin guards if you color match the primary color of the boots to the pants. Unfortunately, most pants have a side seam. Since the boots don’t have that, it looks off. Jolee Bindo will work (only in black or white, the pants dye lighter than the boots in colors), but I don’t like how tight those pants are at the top and would need a chest piece that extends down to the upper thigh. Considering these boots start out blue and pink, I was really surprised how much I liked them dyed black. (With the jacket the original color, you can color match them and they turn black. When I went with the purple dye, I had to dye the boots because they looked silly with purple on them.)

I love the belt. It is my favorite belt in the game. I would seriously use it on every single set if I could. Though it’s not going to work for blasters since I insist on using looped belts with blasters. I’m also a big fan of the Carth Onasi pants. Pockets are awesome.

I didn’t match a mount to this outfit and instead used my favorite mount, MSM J-37 Jetpack. I like this one because it’s so small and I don’t have any problems with squeezing into small spaces.
