The Knights of the Fallen Empire Chapter II: A Dream of Empire chapter takes place in the third expansion of Star Wars: The Old Republic, in a mind-scape where the player speaks to Valkorion about both his and the player’s past in a dream-like environment.
Dialogue

The dialogue below is an example of what the dialogue trees may look like, but may not reflect how it is in-game exactly, due to some options not being used, and the way the dialogue trees are non-linear. I’ve done my best to put the text together in a fun way where you can look at the differences in the dialogue choices, and see the different wordings depending on your class, faction or alignment. There will potentially be spoilers from every class story and every expansion before this one. Enjoy!
There is a lot of different dialogue trees depending on the player’s class, and whether the player had married their companion or not. There is also some minor dialogue choice differences depending on if the player had kneeled to Valkorion earlier in Chapter I.

My favorite differences include:
- As an Inquisitor or Warrior, you fight a vision of Darth Marr, and Valkorion will ask if you felt cheated when he disposed of him.
- As a Bounty Hunter, you’ll fight Mand’alore, and the game recognizes if you had become a Mandalorian or not.
- If you refused to kneel to Valkorion in the previous chapter, you can offer to drop him into a star.
- You can ask Valkorion if he’s flirting with you. lol.
- Valorion has some interesting dialogue if you tell him you are in love with one of your companions (if you married them) which gives some unique perspective on his marriage with Senya. “Love withers when it is neglected. Left alone too long, love will seek another.”
- If you tell Valkorion that being trapped in carbonite doesn’t feel like winning, he will reply, “A worm enters a chrysalis to grow wings. It never crawls again–and never looks back.”
- If you play as an Inquistor, Warrior, or Agent, the Valkorion calls it “our failed empire”, but if you are on a Bounty Hunter, he leaves you out and calls it his own failed empire.
- As a Jedi Consular, if you ask about his Zakuulan children, you’ll point out they are not like the Children of the Emperor you fought before.
- Later, if you ask where his children’s mother is, he’ll reply “I made a mistake. I let her go.”
Introduction

Disaster! Republic and Imperial forces, hunting the former Sith Emperor into unexplored space, have discovered an overpowering new enemy: THE ETERNAL EMPIRE.
Now calling himself Valkorion and ruling over the planet Zakuul, the Emperor’s triumph is cut short by the murderous betrayal of his own son, Prince Arcann.
With Darth Marr and Emperor Valkorion dead, Prince Arcann seizes the Eternal Empire’s throne and imprisons [Player] in carbonite as Zakuul begins its conquest of the galaxy….
Part 1

- Valkorion: I have always loved the stars.
I knew you weren’t dead. A Player: Your death was too good to be true. You can’t fool me.
- Valkorion: Deception was not my desire. You deserve truth.
OR
Valkorion: You are much more than merely a Jedi.
OR
Valkorion: To call you Sith is to ignore your true self.
OR
OR
OR
Valkorion: You cannot wield the Force, yet you triumph over powers far greater.- Valkorion: You have earned my respect. I followed you here so we might speak undisturbed.
You’ve changed. Player: You’ve changed.
Player: You’re not the same Emperor I fought on Dromund Kaas or Ziost.
Valkorion: Everything changes. You most of all.
Player: Do you finally see the futility of the dark side?
Valkorion: I have evolved beyond light and dark. So will you.
Player: The true Emperor follows no one. You are not him.
Valkorion: You focus too much on the past. All things evolve.
Player: You’ve grown quite humble. Do you finally accept my superiority?
- Valkorion: I accept the need for change–and so must you.
OR
OR
OR
Player: You’re not the same lunatic I fought back on Ziost.
- Valkorion: I am, and am not. Change overtakes us all in the end.
Too bad–I’m not listening. Player: I don’t have time for you.
- Valkorion: On the contrary, time is all you have. Use it to evolve.
Are you flirting with me? Player: You’re not planning to propose, are you?
- Valkorion: Do not play the fool. The galaxy changes and we must change with it.
Get out of my mind. Player: Get out of my mind.
Player: You won’t control me again. I’m stronger than I was back then.
Valkorion: Yes, I feel it.
Player: You can invade my mind, but I’ll never become one of your Children.
Valkorion: I no longer require a slave.
Player: I don’t know how you’re in my head, but I’ve got unlimited ammo here.
Valkorion: You have nothing to fear.
Player: My brain isn’t big enough for the both of us.
Valkorion: Then we must expand it.
Player: You can enter my mind, but I won’t bend to your will. I am no longer your Wrath.
Valkorion: You have always been more than a title.
Player: I always hoped I’d add your spirit to my collection.
Valkorion: I could say the same. This meeting is long overdue.
Player: You made a mistake getting inside my head. Just wait’ll you see my dreams.
Valkorion: I look forward to them.
Player: Just what I needed–one more mental stowaway to ignore.
Valkorion: You do have a crowded mind.
[[[You kneeled before Valkorion.]]] What about our deal? Player: You can stargaze later. We had an agreement.
- Valkorion: Patience. We can still achieve what I promised.
OR
Valkorion: You are much more than merely a Jedi.
OR
Valkorion: To call you Sith is to ignore your true self.
OR
OR
OR
Valkorion: You cannot wield the Force, yet you triumph over powers far greater.
[[[You refused to kneel before Valkorion.]]] Maybe a star can kill you. Player: The next time we fight I’ll drop you into one of them. See if that finishes you off.
- Valkorion: You would not be the first to try, but you could be the first to succeed.
OR
Valkorion: You are much more than merely a Jedi.
OR
Valkorion: To call you Sith is to ignore your true self.
OR
OR
OR
Valkorion: You cannot wield the Force, yet you triumph over powers far greater.
Part 2

Jedi Knight
Valkorion: Your true believers. You gave their lives purpose and meaning.
Valkorion: A lost soldier….
Valkorion: A mechanical servant….
Valkorion: A doubting Jedi….
Valkorion: The broken healer…
Valkorion: And the unrepentant traitor.
Valkorion: They were useful when you did not know yourself. But now, you are complete.

[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] Not without my true love. Player: I thought you knew all my secrets. You didn’t know I fell in love?
OR
Valkorion: You violated your Jedi Code. Impressive.- Valkorion: Love withers when it is neglected. Left alone too long, love will seek another.
- Player: We’ll be together again.
NOT
[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] Nothing beats a good team-up. Player: Even a powerful Jedi is better when they have allies they can count on.
Valkorion: Yours already forget you.
Player: You want to isolate me. It won’t work.
[Call out to your allies.] Player: Over here!
- Valkorion: What will that accomplish?
- Player: I can stop talking to you.
I’d replace some if I could. Player: Not all of us belong together. I’m not sure why they stay.
- Valkorion: You admit the truth.
Jedi Consular
Valkorion: The Barsen’thor’s loyal crew. Strange company for a Warden of the Order.
Valkorion: There’s the bestial seeker….
Valkorion: A dissolute gambler….
Valkorion: The spiteful revolutionary….
Valkorion: A foolish idealist….
Valkorion: And your naive acolyte.
Valkorion: Why do you keep them? Is it obligation, pity, or simple inertia?

[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] For one of them, it’s love. Player: Some bonds run deeper than any of those things. I found love with one of them.
NOT
[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] The Force brought us together. Player: I follow the will of the Force where it leads. It guided me to join them.
Valkorion: And if the Force pulls you apart again, what then?
Player: I will accept that if I must.
[Call out to your allies.] Player: Over here!
I’d replace some if I could. Player: Not all of us belong together. I’m not sure why they stay.

Trooper
Valkorion: Your Havoc Squad. Its members followed you beyond all reason.
Valkorion: A mindless patriot….
Valkorion: The bitter survivor….
Valkorion: A self-righteous defector…
Valkorion: The scheming manipulator….
Valkorion: And a perpetual outsider.
Valkorion: What becomes of soldiers without their leader? Warriors who lose their cause?

[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] One of them loves me. Player: Love keeps me fighting when nothing else will.
NOT
[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] They still have a cause. Player: Havoc Squad’s mission hasn’t changed. They’ll keep fighting.
Valkorion: Like machines executing a program. You are better than that.
Player: A commander’s nothing without troops. We rely on each other.
[Call out to your allies.] Player: Over here!
I’d replace some if I could. Player: Not all of us belong together. I’m not sure why they stay.
Smuggler
Valkorion: Your misfit crew. They aspire to your example but are merely shadows.
Valkorion: Your dutiful beast….
Valkorion: The sentimental gunman….
Valkorion: An apathetic monarch…
Valkorion: The artless fraud….
Valkorion: And a forsaken avenger.
Valkorion: You have no use for them.

[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] Being in love counts, right? Player: I share a bunk with one. That’s been pretty useful.
NOT
[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] They’re loyal. That’s enough. Player: I trust them to watch my back. Besides, they make me look good.
Valkorion: Without you they are nothing.
Player: Which is why I’m sure they’re coming up with a plan to spring me.
[Call out to your allies.] Player: Over here!
I’d replace some if I could. Player: Not all of us belong together. I’m not sure why they stay.

Sith Warrior
Valkorion: Your servants. They cling to you like parasites on a predator.
Valkorion: The homicidal savage….
Valkorion: Your thieving slave….
Valkorion: The smiling betrayer….
Light-side Jaesa Valkorion: A deluded Jedi….
Dark-Side Jaesa Valkorion: A debased apprentice….
Valkorion: And a reckless malcontent.
Valkorion: You suffered their existence for years. Even those who earned death.

[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] One earned my love. Player: One feeds my passion more than all the others combined.
Valkorion: Passion fades with distance.
NOT
[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] Even traitors have their uses. Player: Most are loyal. I keep those who aren’t as a reminder to never lower my guard.
Valkorion: I once thought as you. It served me poorly.
Player: They will not fail me. I will be freed from this prison.
[Call out to your allies.] Player: Over here!
I’d replace some if I could. Player: Not all of us belong together. I’m not sure why they stay.
Sith Inquisitor
Valkorion: Your acolytes. Rungs on the ladder of your ascent.
Valkorion: The ageless fiend….
Valkorion: An embittered pirate….
Valkorion: An impure Jedi….
Valkorion: Your worshipful academic….
Valkorion: And a bloodthirsty zealot.
Valkorion: They outlived their purpose long ago, yet you permit them to live.

[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] One is my lover. Player: I’m not yet in the habit of murdering those I love. Call me sentimental.
NOT
[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] They may yet be useful. Player: Clever Sith keep their allies close. You never know when you’ll need a sacrifice.
Valkorion: You think you need them. You do not.
Player: I’ll decide that myself.
[Call out to your allies.] Player: Over here!
I’d replace some if I could. Player: Not all of us belong together. I’m not sure why they stay.
Bounty Hunter
Valkorion: Your mercenary crew. They follow you out of self-interest.
Valkorion: A cowardly scoundrel….
Valkorion: A naive wanderer….
Valkorion: The glory-seeking orphan….
Valkorion: The Mandalorian pretender….
Valkorion: And a brutish psychopath.
Valkorion: You no longer need that outlaw band. You never did.

[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] There’s one I love. Player: Maybe not all of them, but I’ve got someone special.
NOT
[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] They have their uses. Player: I pay them to watch my back.
Valkorion: Not anymore.
Player: They’ll find me if they know what’s good for them.
[Call out to your allies.] Player: Over here!
I’d replace some if I could. Player: Not all of us belong together. I’m not sure why they stay.
Imperial Agent
Valkorion: Your conspirators. It is difficult to imagine a less trustworthy crew.
Valkorion: A wanted fugitive….
Valkorion: An alienated diplomat….
Valkorion: A charming sociopath….
Valkorion: The unassuming monster….
Valkorion: And an amoral machine.
Valkorion: Tell me, do they hope to rescue you… or confirm your demise?

[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] At least one of them loves me. Player: I know one who wants me back alive. We’re in love.
NOT
[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story?]]] Either way, they’re useful. Player: It’s a bit of both. That’s why we work together so well.
- Valkorion: You see them clearly.
- Player: Are you insulting my colleagues for a reason?
[Call out to your allies.] Player: Over here!
I’d replace some if I could. Player: Not all of us belong together. I’m not sure why they stay.
Part 3

- Valkorion: Each day they drift further out of reach. Without a center to hold… without us… the galaxy and all within it spiral into chaos.
- Player: What’s happening to me….
- Valkorion: The carbon freezing was imperfect. Your body is poisoned. Dying.
- Valkorion: Old foes have come to take your life.
Nightmares can’t hurt me. Player: I’m not afraid. None of this is real.
-
- Valkorion: Illusions can kill.
- Valkorion: If you want to live, you must fight.
-
They’ll fail. Player: I beat them before. I’ll do it again.
Come on, then! Player: I’m tired of talking. You want a fight? I’m ready!
- Valkorion: Yes. Good.
Part 4

The player fights Vision of the Past enemies. They are different for each class.
Jedi Knight: Lord Tarnis and Darth Angral
Jedi Consular: The First Son and Lord Vivicar
Trooper: General Rakton and Commander Tavus
Smuggler: Skavak and The Voidwolf
Sith Warrior: Darth Baras and Nomen Karr
Sith Inquisitor: Darth Zash and Darth Thanaton
Bounty Hunter: Tarro Blood and Jedi Master Jun Seros
Imperial Agent: Hunter and Watcher X
The players’ companions lie dead on the ground.
OR
Valkorion: You spent your life walking the Jedi path. This is where it led. Was it worth the journey?
OR
I will not fear the future. Player: The way of the Jedi is not about reward or regret. And I haven’t lost my companions yet.
OR
Not if I lose my friends. Player: The Order warns against forming attachments, but I can’t let them die.
Enough of this nonsense. Player: You changed your face and voice, but you still speak in riddles. You’re wasting my time.
Valkorion: This is a soldier’s fate. You can join them, or choose a better destiny.
That’s not how war works. Player: Only cowards choose how they die. Soldiers accept their fate.
Havoc Squad deserves better. Player: I’ve never been afraid to die. But I want my people to live.
Enough of this nonsense. Player: You changed your face and voice, but you still speak in riddles. You’re wasting my time.
Valkorion: You can escape their fate if you dare to be more than a criminal.
I see no reason to change. Player: I like being a criminal. It’s kind of my thing.
What are you playing at? Player: I know a con when I hear one. What’s your game, old man?
Enough of this nonsense. Player: You changed your face and voice, but you still speak in riddles. You’re wasting my time.
OR
Valkorion: The old ways held you back. You barely tapped your true potential. It is time you are unleashed.
OR
I couldn’t agree more. Player: I know what I should be. If you have a plan, let’s hear it.
OR
Never doubt my power. Player: Do not presume to know me. My power is beyond your imagination.
Enough of this nonsense. Player: You changed your face and voice, but you still speak in riddles. You’re wasting my time.
Valkorion: You have always been superior to everyone around you. Even them. Release your past. Become greater.
I can’t get any greater. Player: I’m already the best. Always have been, always will be.
With you? Not interested. Player: This is why you don’t have any friends. Some jobs aren’t worth taking.
Enough of this nonsense. Player: You changed your face and voice, but you still speak in riddles. You’re wasting my time.
Valkorion: You have unlimited power to change reality. Choose to become something greater than you are now.
Go ahead, tell me how. Player: We both wield power from the shadows. What do you offer that I don’t already have?
I’m on to your game. Player: Never try to manipulate someone like me. It always backfires.
Enough of this nonsense. Player: You changed your face and voice, but you still speak in riddles. You’re wasting my time.
- Valkorion: Haha….
Part 5

Republic
Valkorion: Your Republic will not save you, Jedi. It is a cradle of corruption. I never understood how you could serve politicians.
I serve the people. Player: I defend peace and justice. Protect the innocent from harm.
Valkorion: And they squander your sacrifice. Why continue to help? What do you hope to achieve?
Player: It’s never been about me.
Valkorion: Perhaps it should be.
Valkorion: You spent your life taking orders from cowardly politicians. Such a waste.
I defend the Republic. Player: I protect free worlds from scum like you. No regrets about that.
Valkorion: Your Republic is an empty ideal. Its people cannot appreciate your service.
Player: I don’t fight for a parade.
Valkorion: You deserve better than empty gestures.
Valkorion: You made your fortune in this corrupt Republic. But money cannot save you now.
I have connections, too. Player: You’re forgetting all my friends in high places. They’ll get me out of this.
Valkorion: Saresh and her cowards? To them you are a crude implement, easily cast aside.
Player: Now you’re just being hurtful.
Valkorion: Pain brings clarity. Embrace it, Captain.
Valkorion: You Jedi cultivate detachment, and yet you lay down your lives to preserve this place.
I protect many civilizations. Player: The knowledge and cultures of a thousand worlds gather here. They’re well worth defending.
Valkorion: They would not return that favor. The Republic shunned your Order after the Sacking of Coruscant.
Player: People were afraid, but things changed.
Valkorion: They will change again. That is the way of things.
Stop following me. Player:
OR
Player: You’re slow on the uptake. I’ll spell it out for you: Leave. Me. Alone.- Valkorion: I offer help. You seek shelter you do not need.
OR
Player: Stand aside. I will not be swayed from my path.
You’re controlling this dream. Player: I didn’t choose to come here. You brought me. Why?
- Valkorion: You control more than you think. I follow your lead.

- Valkorion: There is greatness in you that cannot be denied. You are a far superior leader to any Chancellor.
This isn’t a dictatorship. Player: I won’t bother explaining democracy to a Sith.
- Valkorion: I am no Sith. And democracy is overrated.
- Valkorion: This Republic is not worth saving any more than my Empire. We have a greater purpose.
You mean Zakuul? Player: To take back your Eternal Throne?
- Valkorion: You failed to defend their home. They will not forgive you.
OR
This is a test of my Code. Player: I only fail when fear controls me.
- Valkorion: Republic… Empire… The Eternal Throne conquers all. You cannot stop it. Save yourself.
I won’t battle civilians. Player: Right or wrong, I’m not firing on my own people.
Just my luck. Player: I take the fall for your kid’s temper tantrum. Figures.
Get back, people! Player: Don’t come any closer!
- Valkorion: They will not listen. They want you dead.
None of this is happening. Player: I’m not afraid of them. It’s just a bad dream.
- Valkorion: But the carbonite poisoning is quite real.
- Valkorion: You failed to defend their home. They will not forgive you.

[[[Did you refuse to kneel before Valkorion, and are a Republic class?]]] There is no “we”. Player: If you think we’re joining forces, you’re insane.
- Valkorion: Am I?
(

OR
)
[[[Did you kneel before Valkorion, and are a Republic class?]]] I know. Player: Then let’s join forces like we planned on Zakuul.
- Valkorion: First, you must survive.
The Republic is worth saving. Player: I’m loyal to the Republic. Nothing you show me will change that.
- Valkorion: You refuse to see the truth. It will cost you.
OR
Power doesn’t interest Jedi. Player: I’m not one of your Sith. You can’t tempt me with power.
OR
Valkorion: You have all the power you require. What you lack is focus.
Politics don’t interest me. Player: My place is on the front lines, not behind some desk.
Valkorion: Every soldier needs a cause worth fighting for.
You want me to run for office? Player: You applying to be my campaign manager?
Valkorion: A new order must replace this one. Why not yours?
I should be in charge. Player: If I controlled the Republic, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. You’d be dead.
- Valkorion: Perhaps. But we share a vision of how things could be.

Imperial
OR
OR
Valkorion: Our failed Empire. You were always superior to the murderous fools in charge here.
Destroying them pleases me. Player: I enjoy ending their lives when they fail.
Valkorion: You could be more than an executioner. You could rule.
Player: And spend my days fighting those who would steal my rightful place.
Valkorion: You understand what is required. There is nothing to fear.- Valkorion: The Dark Council… Imperial Intelligence… Mandalorians… all fail. You alone find victory.
But now I’m imprisoned. Player: I’m trapped in carbonite, dying of poison, and talking to you. This doesn’t feel like winning.
- Valkorion: A worm enters a chrysalis to grow wings. It never crawls again–and never looks back.
- Valkorion: This Empire is not worth saving, and the Republic is not worth destroying. There is a greater purpose awaiting us.
You mean Zakuul. Player: You want to take back your Eternal Throne.
- Valkorion: They want someone to blame for their defeat. They choose you.
The Empire won’t be defeated. Player: Your inbred children will never conquer Dromund Kaas.
- Valkorion: Empire… Republic… Both fall before the Eternal Throne. You cannot stop what is to come. Save yourself.
Dreams don’t frighten me. Player: I won’t waste my strength fighting things that aren’t real.
- Valkorion: These are not illusions.
If they want to die, fine. Player: Let them come. It’s their funeral.
- Valkorion: Theirs or yours. Only you can decide that. Choose quickly.
- Valkorion: They want someone to blame for their defeat. They choose you.
- End of Conversation

[[[Did you refuse to kneel before Valkorion, and are an Imperial class?]]] I’m listening. Player: I already agreed to join you.
- Valkorion: I have not forgotten.
The Empire is worth saving. Player: The Empire is stronger than you think. I won’t abandon my home.
- Valkorion: Do not let sentiment cloud reality.
My destiny is unfulfilled. Player:
Player: Victory won’t be mine until the last Jedi falls at my feet.
Valkorion: The Jedi Order is not your concern. Leave their defeat to another.
Player: I won’t be satisfied until the Empire is under my complete control.
Valkorion: Old ambitions will not sate your appetite.
Player: The hunt never ends. There’s always a bigger score.
Valkorion: Then chase something worthy of you.
Player: I’ve only begun to spin my web of influence.
Valkorion: To trap whom?
Not while you’re still alive. Player: I’ll feel better when you’re gone for good.
- Valkorion: I am not your enemy. I will help you see.
Someday they’ll all be dead. Player: They underestimate me. That will be their downfall.
Valkorion: You sat on the Dark Council, but you never belonged with petty tyrants.
Player: I climbed out of your slave pits to the top of the Empire. I rather like the view.
Valkorion: We must broaden your horizons.
And they all know it. Player: A fact I remind them of every chance I get.
Valkorion: A mind–a will–like yours should not remain in the shadows. Your name should be exalted.
Player: It’s known and feared by the right people.
Valkorion: To inspire fear is useful. To inspire hope… that is true power.
I could make the Empire great. Player: This Empire failed because of you. Someone like me could lead it to victory.
- Valkorion: Do not waste time following the path of Marr and Malgus. There is no redemption here.
Then why are we here? Player: What’s the point of wallowing in your biggest failure?
- Valkorion: To prove a point.
Valkorion: My failed Empire. You never belonged here, clawing through filth for murderous bureaucrats.
It wasn’t all bad. Player: It paid the bills. Sometimes I even had fun.
Valkorion: It wasted your talents. There is more to life–to you–than credits and contracts.
Player: Yeah–reputation. Even your Sith fear my name.
Valkorion: As they should. The Force has no power over you.
Then why are we here? Player: What’s the point of wallowing in your biggest failure?
Part 6
The player fights a Vision of the Past enemy. They are different for each class.
Jedi Knight: Satele Shan
Jedi Consular: Satele Shan
Trooper: Geenral Garza
Smuggler: Nok Drayen
Sith Warrior: Darth Marr
Sith Inquisitor: Darth Marr
Bounty Hunter: Mand’alore
Imperial Agent: Darth Jadus

OR
Valkorion: No authority but your own, no obligation but to yourself. Do not be afraid. Admit how good it feels.
OR
No. I feel sick. Player: Grandmaster Satele is the heart of the Jedi Order. I would never strike her down.
OR
Valkorion: You refuse to admit your truth. So be it.- End of Conversation
OR
Yes, this feels right. Player: Grandmaster Satele failed the Jedi Order. I should have struck her down long ago.
OR
Valkorion: You are ready for the future.
OR
OR
OR
Am I seeing the future? Player: These visions… are they real? Will Coruscant fall?
OR
OR
OR
Valkorion: What does it matter?
Valkorion: The corrupted patriot. In the end, victory was more important to her than the people she served.
You didn’t know her. Player: No. She made hard decisions, but she cared about her people.
Valkorion: Still playing the lap dog? So be it.
She deserved to die. Player: You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that.
Valkorion: You are no longer bound by orders. The future is yours to decide.
OR
OR
OR
Am I seeing the future? Player: These visions… are they real? Will Coruscant fall?
Valkorion: You do not belong to the Republic any more than he did. You have always lived outside the law.
What’s your point? Player: What’s a dead man got to do with this?
Valkorion: The galaxy is shaped by the dead. You must learn from their failures.
I belong to no one but myself. Player: You’re right. But I don’t belong to you either.
- Valkorion: When it comes to your future, your will is law. Not mine.
OR
OR
OR
Am I seeing the future? Player: These visions… are they real? Will Coruscant fall?

Valkorion: Did it please you to kill him yourself? I sensed you felt cheated when I disposed of him.
OR
He deserved to live. Player: Wrong. I respected Marr. He led the Empire with honor.
OR
Valkorion: There is no honor in fighting for a lost cause.
OR
It’s true, I did. Player: Marr was weak. I always knew he’d die for my pleasure someday.
OR
Valkorion: You have released your past. You are ready.
You’re enjoying all this. Player: This dream is a big joke to you, isn’t it?
- Valkorion: I seek only to open your eyes.
Valkorion: The great Mandalore. Just another obstacle in your path to be swept aside.
[[[Did you become a Mandalorian, as a Bounty Hunter?]]] I admired him. Player: He was an honorable warrior. Something you wouldn’t understand.
- Valkorion: He was a glorified thug. You must aspire to be more.
[[[Did you refuse to become a Mandalorian, as a Bounty Hunter?]]] I wish it was really him. Player: The Pubs put a fortune on the top Mando’s head. Too bad this is a dream.
Valkorion: You joke of credits and ignore the truth of your own power.
The real Mandalore is tougher. Player: I’m good, but it’d take more than just me to drop Mandalore.
Valkorion: False modesty has no place here. If you wish to survive, own your power.
You’re enjoying all this. Player: This dream is a big joke to you, isn’t it?
Valkorion: Darth Jadus. The best Sith my Empire ever produced, but still deeply flawed–and no match for you.
Spare me your false flattery. Player: Your appeals to my ego are tedious. That isn’t the real Jadus.
Valkorion: You must see beyond your limited perception.
He never was. Player: Fanatics are led by their egos. I always knew Jadus would follow his straight into my crosshair.
Valkorion: You claim your power. You are close, now.
You’re enjoying all this. Player: This dream is a big joke to you, isn’t it?
Part 7

- Valkorion: Ziost. The world where everything changed. For me, you… the galaxy.
- Player: You killed every living being here.
- Valkorion: They died opening my eyes to the truth. I have passed beyond death’s reach.
That’s a lie. Player: Everything dies. Even you.
- Valkorion: Our flesh is not who we are. Voices… Hands… Children… I no longer require those crude vessels. At long last I am truly free.
You murdering lunatic. Player: Your freedom cost millions of innocent lives. You’re nothing but a monster.
- Valkorion: I am a part of you, now more than ever.
- Valkorion: I have done all I can to preserve your life.
- Player: Why would you do that?
- Valkorion: You are a part of me I wish to keep.
- Valkorion: I cannot save you unless you want to live.
I don’t need your help. Player:
OR
Player: There is no death. There is only the Force.
- Valkorion: Show me.
OR
OR
Player: I can take this heap of slag alone.
OR
Player: Sith do not beg for rescue. Through passion, I gain strength.
Player: I will decide my fate, not you.
Share your power with me. Player: You can destroy it. Help me.
- Valkorion: Not yet. But soon….
- Valkorion: Our flesh is not who we are. Voices… Hands… Children… I no longer require those crude vessels. At long last I am truly free.
That makes one of us. Player: Will you be free when the carbonite poisoning kills me?
- Valkorion: Perhaps. But that is not my goal.
What do you want? Player: You choose to visit me. Why?
- Valkorion: Our story is not finished.
You have my attention… Player:
OR
OR
Player: Care to put that claim to the test?
- Valkorion: You will not be disappointed.
Player: That’s a secret I’d be interested in–if I believed you.
- Valkorion: It is your nature to doubt. I will convince you.
OR
OR
OR
Player: Both Jedi and Sith have sought immortality. What makes you the exception?
- Valkorion: I am not hindered by the teachings of failures.
Show me your truth, too. Player: I could use a little immortality before I die of carbon poisoning. Teach me.
- Valkorion: Perhaps one day I will.
Part 8

The player fights the monolith.
Part 9

- Valkorion: You are the only one who has ever matched my will to survive.
I live to see this war’s end. Player: It’s not about survival. I have a war to win.
- Valkorion: No. It ended long ago.
- End of Conversation
We’re nothing alike. Player: Stop comparing yourself to me.
- Valkorion: You cannot deny we share a common foe.
Don’t touch me. Player: Get away. I can’t kill you, but I’ll find a way to hurt you.
- Valkorion: You resist the inevitable. It is time you faced reality.
Part 10

- Valkorion: The Eternal Throne. The new seat of power in the galaxy.
- Player: It can’t be. I’ve only been gone–
- Valkorion: Longer than you think. Zakuul has surpassed my expectations. The most powerful fleet in history, and an army of guardians who know the Force is more than light or dark.
- Valkorion: But my children… my children abuse their power.
I’m surprised you have family. Player:
Player: Real children? Not puppets enslaved to your will?
Player: They aren’t like your “Children” I fought before. They have free will.
Player: You were bad enough alone. We didn’t need your relatives.
Player: Never pegged you as a family man. Maybe it was all the planet-killing.
Player: You sired offspring–and forgot that dynasties are built on the bones of their founders.
Player: This is why Sith shouldn’t reproduce. Killing an apprentice is hard enough.
Player: How’d a charmer like you make babies? Cloning?
Player: If you’re so immortal, why go to the trouble of reproduction?
- Valkorion: Abandoning my past let me experience pleasures I denied myself before. I have known love on Zakuul. Who knows? Even you may find it.
You don’t know what love is. Player: The only thing you love is power.
- Valkorion: I care about more than you know.
- Valkorion: We must deal with my errant son and daughter before they ruin everything.
So that’s why you’re with me. Player: I knew you wanted something. You can’t stop them alone.
- Valkorion: They are deadly–and worse, lack discipline.
- Valkorion: Do not underestimate their threat. It will take both of us to undo the damage they can inflict.
OR
OR
OR
OR
OR
Player: Your daughter sees me.
OR
Player: Your daughter’s giving me the eye.
- Valkorion: Vaylin was always my favorite.
- Arcann: What is it?
- Valkorion: Interesting.
-
-
Vaylin, I need your help. Player:
Player: The Force guides us both, Vaylin. You must free me from the carbonite.
Player: Lady, if you can hear me… I need out of the carbonite right now.
Player: Your father isn’t much help. Maybe you can get me out of the carbonite….
Player: Hear my voice, child. Free me now, and I may be merciful.
Player: That’s right, focus on me. I want out of that carbonite tomb.
Player: Hey, I’m talking to you. Get me out of the carbonite.
Player: You can hear too, yes? I demand you free me from the carbonite.
Player: Hear my voice, Vaylin. Release me from the carbonite while there’s time.
She keeps secrets from him. Player: Your daughter doesn’t trust your son.
- Valkorion: She trusts no one.
No, it’s just an illusion. Player: It’s an entertaining nightmare, but that’s all.
- Valkorion: No, it is more.
-
-
OR
I have. Lots of times. Player: I’ve had more than my share of lovers.- Valkorion: Temporary comforts. I speak of something higher.
OR
OR
OR
OR
OR
[[[Did you marry your companion in the class story, and are not a Smuggler or Bounty Hunter?]]] I already found love. Player: I committed my life to someone. Your children forced us apart.
- Valkorion: A reunion may yet be possible.
OR
OR
OR
OR
OR
NOT
[[[Did you not marry your companion in the class story, and are not a Smuggler or Bounty Hunter?]]] I suppose there’s a chance. Player: Anything’s possible, but not while I’m in carbonite.
- Valkorion: It is something to consider.
OR
Jedi cannot love. Player: Love leads to attachment–and that leads to the dark side.
- Valkorion: Your thinking remains limited. A pity.
OR
OR
OR
OR
OR
Love doesn’t interest me. Player: I won’t find what I’m not looking for.
- Valkorion: You may surprise yourself.
Zakuul must fall with them. Player:
OR
OR
OR
Player: It’s not completely their fault. Zakuul is as corrupt as the Empire.
- Valkorion: But the Eternal Fleet makes it infinitely more dangerous.
OR
OR
OR
Player: I won’t stop with them. Your new empire won’t replace mine.
- Valkorion: Zakuul is not your enemy. They are.
OR
I can kill them, if you want. Player: They won’t go gently, but I guess you can always make more.
OR
OR
OR
OR
OR
I’ll kill them. Player: You want me to end your bloodline. Consider it done.
They follow your example. Player: What did you expect? You’re their role model.
- Valkorion: I was different here.
Where’s their mother? Player: Your wife isn’t around to keep them in line?
- Valkorion: I made a mistake. I let her go.
Part 11
The player exits the vision of Zakuul.
- Player: I’m dying….
- Valkorion: We are being reborn.
- Lana Beniko: Wake up. We have to go….
- Valkorion: We are being reborn.
