The Yavin 4 dailies are a set of missions picked up at both the coalition staging area you land in and around the planet that you can repeat to earn Reputation and Rewards. Yavin 4 is at the tail end of Shadows of Revan in the story, directly following Rishi, but before Ziost.
Thank you player Zahk for all your help on this guide to make it easier for other players to find the quest objectives!
How to Start
Chronological Start: Yavin 4’s dailies naturally fall into the story and must be done at least once as an objective in the Shadows of Revan main mission. The Operation, Temple of Sacrifice, takes place at the same time as the dailies and either it or the dailies can be used to progress.
Early on Other Characters: You can run Yavin 4 even if you are not caught up on the story, as long as you have it unlocked and are level 60. The planet’s level-down-sync is also 60.
How to Get There: You can head to Yavin 4 via either travelling directly in your ship, or by Accepting the Daily Area: Yavin 4 weekly mission from the Solo Tab of the activities finder (icon of ‘three little people’ near your minimap).
Reputation
Reputation is a way of gaining favor with different groups by completing missions for them. As you level up your reputation rank, more rewards for that reputation track become available. Reputation is shared by all your characters on your server, so it’s legacy-wide.
By using multiple characters, you won’t be limited to how many Yavin 4 missions you run, but you will still be gated by how many reputation points you can earn – you can only earn a hard limit of 12,000 reputation points per week.
There is one unified Reputation track for Yavin 4 called Coalition Forces of Yavin 4. Progress gained on Republic Side won’t need to be redone on Imperial side.
You also get a TON of Yavin 4 reputation just by running the expansion itself – so if you are looking to earn Reputation on Yavin 4, feel free to also simply run the expansion on other characters in your legacy!
Ranks
As you run Yavin 4 Dailies, you’ll rank up your reputation, and each rank unlocks new rewards from the Yavin 4 Reputation vendor in Raider’s Cove.
- None – 0 Reputation
- Outsider – 0/2,500 Reputation (2,500 total points needed)
- Newcomer – 0/5,000 Reputation (7,500 total points needed)
- Friend – 0/7,500 Reputation (15,000 total points needed)
- Hero – 0/10,000 Reputation (25,000 total points needed)
- Champion – 0/15,000 Reputation (40,000 total points needed)
- Legend – 0/30,000 Reputation (70,000 total points needed)
Tokens
Each type of token from Yavin 4 gives you a different amount of Reputation, and it also changes based on what various boosts you have and whether you are subscribed or not:
Massassi Pendant: 180 Reputation (270 as a subscriber)
Revanite Dagger: 420 Reputation (630 as a subscriber)
Mark of Cooperation: 960 Reputation (1440 as a subscriber)
Other Rewards
Depending on your level when completing a Yavin 4 mission, there are also some additional rewards tied to some; exactly what per mission is on a table down below!
Conquest Commendations (at max-level, [DAILY] missions give 3 each, [WEEKLY] gives 50): Conquest Commendations will be awarded for most Planetary Repeatables. It’s used to upgrade virtually every track of gear upgrade, in varying amounts.
Tech Fragments (at max-level, [DAILY] missions give 30 each): Tech Fragments are an endgame currency used to buy Legendary Implants, Tacticals, materials for the best Augments in the game, and some older/cosmetic armors.
Conquest Gear Piece: at max-level, the Weekly mission will award a Conquest Gear Box in addition. These have a minimum item level of 324, and are green quality.
Earning Reputation
- The Weekly “Daily Area” mission asks you to complete all eight dailies and gives you the purple reputation token.
- Each Daily rewards the green reputation token.
- The Weekly “Enemy Within” solo boss fight will award a blue reputatation token.
Missions
[WEEKLY] Daily Area: Yavin 4
Complete all 8 of these daily quests on Yavin 4:
- [DAILY] Confederacy – Found at the Mission Terminal
- [DAILY] The Devoted Ones – Found at the Mission Terminal
- [DAILY] Chopping Block – Given by an NPC in the Coalition Staging Area near the Mission Terminal
- [DAILY] Altars of History – Given by an NPC in the Coalition Staging Area near the Mission Terminal
- [DAILY] Pushback – Given by an NPC in the Coalition Staging Area near the Mission Terminal
- [DAILY] Training Regimen – Given by an NPC in the Coalition Staging Area near the Mission Terminal
- [DAILY] Hunters Hunted – Given by a Datapad on the road near the Massassi Camp in the Temple Ruins area
- [DAILY] Pathfinding – Given by an NPC outside of the cave in the south of the Temple Ruins Area
[WEEKLY] The Enemy Within
Although not a requirement for the main Weekly, The Enemy Within is an instanced boss encounter with Revan that can award one blue reputation token per week – it is also frequently a requirement of any Galactic Seasons Objectives requiring you to do Yavin Dailies. You can acquire this mission from the main mission terminal in the Coalition Staging area.
Tips:
- After picking it up from the terminal, head into the now-green personal phase on the east side of the coalition area. Walk right past the command post and get on the shuttle to The Forgotten Terrace. At the end of the path will be Revan.
- To start off we recommend a healing companion for most players – this fight can take a lot of time regardless of how good you are at damage and any pulsing damage just serves to endanger your attempts the longer it takes, though some of the NPC helpers will occassionally but unreliably heal too.
- Between an untelegraphed knockback and twin saber throw, he’s going to stun you a ton. He will cast mass affliction quite often, adding a debuff to you. In most content this debuff is extremely dangerous but here so long as you have a healing companion, it tickles. Just get used to being stunned a lot and damage when you can.
- At 66% and 33% the most tedious part of the fight occurs – Revan will jump to the center and trap each of your NPC helpers to pillars around the room, pulsing telekinetic damage all the while. To free them and move on with the fight, you must run over red and blue (dark and light) orbs of energy randomly spawning around the arena and take the buff you get over to a MATCHING circle underneath one of your allies, repeating until they are all free.
- Mixing colors by picking up both orbs at once will knock you back, damage you, and stun you a little, losing both buffs. Running direcfly through Revan will do the same, so stay away. It’s a bit of a chore, but you get a speed boost when carrying one of the orbs, so use whatever class-specific mobility you may have on the way TO an orb, and let it’s own speed buff carry you the rest of the way to an ally.
[DAILY] Confederacy
Tips:
- This mission takes place in the two easternmost sections of Yavin, the Verdant Swamp and Prowler’s Trail. Depending on faction, you will have a taxi route to one of the two – but you need to go to both in order to finish the mission – they’re connected by caves. You’ll get this mission from the beginning Coalition base from the daily terminal.
- You technically don’t have to defeat anything for this mission, though there’s groups of 3 or 4 Ginxes or Prowlers on almost all the Perimeter Sensors; and a bonus mission to defeat 15 of them.
- The Perimeter sensors are clearly marked on your map so long as you are in the same area as they are and look like the image above if they’re able to be installed. If you’re confused as to which cave will get you to MORE of them, try untracking your other unrelated dailies so you don’t get arrows leading you to the wrong ones.
[DAILY] The Devoted Ones
Tips:
- This mission takes place in the center of Yavin IV, the Training Grounds. You will have a taxi route to an outpost nearby and you’ll get this mission from the beginning Coalition base from the daily terminal.
- Aside from the 10 Revanite Cache bonus objective littering the training grounds, there’s still a lot to do here. Generally you’ll want to move to Revanite Overseers first and kill whatever’s on the way. Note that Revanite Overseers are a specific gold-level enemy, NOT the named Commandants that are champion level – those are for a story mission and not needed.
- Overseers are most commonly found in places like the image above – do a circle around the center temple and the tents on the highest tier usually have a couple.
- Loyalists are silver-level enemies that usually come with a few droids or partisans – they can also be found in the middle, or near the circular training rings, or even in the ruins around the map.
- If you’ve cleared your Overseers and Loyalists and still need a few more Partisans or Followers and don’t want to deal with extra loyalists, sometimes there will be large groups of 4 or 5 near the gate entrances to the ruins. Also check in the big tents around the outside edge of the ruins, away from the main temple.
[DAILY] Chopping Block
Tips:
- This mission takes place along the southern wall of the Training Grounds section of Yavin – the middle third. You’ll get it from the beginning Coalition base from Lord Ray’en, just across from the daily terminal.
- Head south of the ruins area to your objective that displays the macrobinocular search icon, and look to the cliffside. You’ll see a camp above you, with two tents and a smokey fire going.
- When you can see the top of the right-hand tent, grab your macrobinoculars and zoom in on the large antennae glowing in the UI by clicking on it.
- The next step is to simply right-click on the back of the tent without macrobinoculars. It seems impossibly far away to interact with, but the range is quite generous and your character will destroy the communications set-up which summons the commanders – a gold and silver level enemy pairing.
- Once defeated, the mission is ready for hand-in back at the coalition staging area.
[DAILY] Altars of History
Tips:
- This mission takes place in the Westernmost section of Yavin – the temple ruins near the Operation Entrance. You’ll get it from the beginning Coalition base from Lieutenant Sabri, the northernmost mission-giver near the mission terminal.
- The first step of this quest is to simply pick up relics in boxes like the image above. These are typically up against some of the ruined walls on either side of the large pyramid-shaped temple in the middle. Lots of massassi guard most of the boxes, though some are well out of the way and require no combat to loot. These are typically the further East boxes, closer to the flight taxis.
- Once you have all your boxes, you will head into the cave along the south wall of the area, near Sergeant Geiz. (This makes Altars and Pathfinding a good pairing, if you’re here for Bessi).
- Head to the south end of the cave where a group phase barrier will be green and accessible to you. Attempt looting the final relic chest here and summon a huge gold-level Massassi. He does a few channeled and casted spear attacks that don’t do too much damage and dies pretty easily.
- Loot him for the last relic and this mission can be handed in to Lieutenant Sabri back at the Coalition Area whenever you’re ready.
[DAILY] Pushback
Tips:
- This mission takes place along the eastern wall of the Training Grounds section of Yavin – the middle third. You’ll get it from the beginning Coalition base from Sergeant Sager, just east of the daily terminal.
- Although the eastern third of Yavin, the Prowler’s Trail and Verdant Swamp, both contain Lurkers, these are specifically Swamp Lurkers and do not count towards your total of 10 to defeat.
- Once in the Training Grounds area, the line of trees before hitting any ruins proper will have a smattering of gold level Lurker Alphas and groups of 3 weaker Lurkers you can defeat. Any of these will count.
- After ten your objective will update to lure out and defeat the Elder Lurker. This takes place in the centermost cave along the eastern wall heading back towards the eastern third of Yavin IV.
- Once inside this center cave called “The Breaking”, you will come to a large three-tunnel intersection with a waterfall. Near the fall is the interactable bone pile that will summon your Elder and lead to mission completion. If the pile is not interactable, wait a few moments. This daily is popular and theres a short wait between summons.
[DAILY] Training Regimen
Tips:
- This mission takes place in the center of Yavin IV, the Training Grounds. You will have a taxi route to an outpost nearby, and you’ll get this mission at the beginning Coalition base from Colonel “You’re a freak and I’d still help if I could” Burr, just east of the daily terminal platform.
- Head to the giant temple in the middle of the Training Grounds and look for a circular arena like in the image above. There are multiple, and more than one work, with the exception of two in the south – one is specifically used to draw out a specific enemy during a story mission, and one is simply broken. The example in the image above is directly on the east side of the temple.
- Click the interactable panel and prepare to fight 3 waves of enemies – the first is 3 very easy droids, followed immediately by two silver-level droids, followed finally by a gold level assault droid. None are at all noteworthy or need any special handling – mostly just ensure your arena is clear of enemies before starting and you should be fine.
[DAILY] Hunters Hunted
Tips:
- This mission takes place in the furthest western section of Yavin, the Temple Ruins. You also pick it up in this section – from the Recon Camp between the 2nd and 3rd section of Yavin, head along the path and towards the Massassi Village. On the path, you’ll see the discarded Datapad on the floor. This begins the mission.
- As soon as you defeat your first Massassi, you’ll get a bonus mission for 10. This can be completed at any time before physically returning to hand it in, so don’t worry about freeing too many prisoners.
- The main objective, freeing prisoners, is done by interacting with the large wooden cages littering the camp in the image above. As a stealther, you can get to 5 easily without attacking a single Massassi.
- After five are let out, return to Major Tso all the way back at the Coalition Staging Area – the initial shuttle zone of Yavin.
[DAILY] Pathfinding
Tips:
- This mission takes place in the furthest western section of Yavin, the Temple Ruins. You also pick it up in this section – from the Temple Ruins speeder head east along the southern border of the zone and you’ll find Sergeant Geiz outside a cave.
- The first step of this mission is to defeat 15 Stonerays. Both Stonerays around the cave and east of it count, as well as the Stonerays inside the cave.
- If heading into the cave, there are three spawn groups of four very weak Stonerays. If I’m heading into the cave anyway for Altars of History, I can sometimes get all 15 from going in and coming back out – though not always – many players come through here and usually steal a few. If that’s the case, head east of the cave and there’s a few Stonerays in the woods south of the Massassi camp and around the cliff.
- Once 15 are down, your objective becomes Lure Out and Defeat the Stoneray Matriarch. Hop onto the cliff Northeast of the cave entrance and you’ll see a big interactable nest. This is the only one, and if other players are doing this it may take some time to come back. Burn it, and summon your Matriarch – a gold level enemy with an interruptable attack. Head back to Geiz when it’s defeated.

World Boss
The Lance Squadron worldboss is recommended for characters level 60 and up who are not afraid of their computer crashing. Not only does this world boss have a lot going on, but it also has an incredible amount of lag and the need to get out of circles moving around on the ground, which can make things really difficult especially because you need a larger group to fight it compared to some of the early world bosses, as it has ten million health total. World Boss Guide
Ancient Threat
The Ancient Threat is one of the most involved bosses in the game – before you can summon it, you must go on a treasure hunt across the galaxy, gathering knowledge and buffs. Once you’ve finally summoned the boss, it’s an incredibility difficult fight, and the most important part is don’t cleanse! Just like the planet, this boss is recommended for very large groups of level 60+. Many teams get 3 or more full groups of 24 to take on this very difficult boss.
