Dantooine While You’re Out There Secret Quest

This guide covers another hidden object type quest, only available when the Dantooine Pirate Incursion event is NOT active. It’ll all start in a small farmhouse in the center of Dantooine, and from there give you a new mission in your log titled “While You’re Out There”. The quest won’t point your way at all, but stick with the guide and finish each objective listed below and you’ll get the achievement!

How to Start

Things will start off by looking for this “Comm Terminal” inside of a farmhouse in the southern area of Dantooine, just northeast of the Republic base. Interacting with it will give you the “While you’re out there” mission, so make sure there’s room in your log. Once this is done, the proper treasure hunt can start. Each of the other items around Dantooine, while cleverly hidden, will now glow blue and be interactable. They can be picked up in any order.

After you find all of the pieces needed, this will also be where you return for the hand-in.

Protocol Droid Remnant

Start at the south/southeast corner of Dantooine and look along the cliffs for a glowing blue droid hand. It’s nestled just underneath another shelf of rock, waiting in the shadows.

Lightsaber Stash

As you follow the broken monorail overhead, you’ll see a raised metal area just beside a Nova Blade Camp with forklifts on it. Approach from the south to climb up to them and see the stash of lightsabers sitting in a toolbox-like object behind one.

Archaeological Notes

On the south shore of the Dantooine Lake is a little pier. Search along the sides to see a datapad emerged in the water. This is the Archeological Notes needed for the secret.

Tainted Blba Seeds

Likely the hardest item of this achievement to find, the Blba Seeds are very very tiny, obscured by the grass, and then jammed between and behind some crates up against the house nearest to the dam. Walking up to each crate and checking behind them should turn up with the seeds if you search carefully.

Preserved Kinrath Gland

Up near the Imperial half of Dantooine, the preserved Kinrath Gland is simply a big green container sitting in the wreckage between the two intact sections of the monorail. Look for the sort of elbow-shaped piece of wreckage to find the specimen container nestled in it.
