SWTOR Rishi Reputation and Daily Area Guide

The Rishi dailies are a set of missions picked up at the entrace to Raider’s Cove you can repeat to earn Reputation and Rewards. Rishi is the first daily area available after finishing the Shadow of Revan Expansion, situated between Oricon and Yavin IV.

Thank you player Zahk for all your help on this guide to make it easier for other players to find the quest objectives!

How to Start

Chronological Start: Rishi’s dailies naturally fall into the story when you are running the Shadow of Revan expansion, as the expansion sends you straight to Rishi. After you’ve completed the expansion, a set of repeatable dailies on Yavin 4 and Rishi are unlocked. There’s no introductory mission to the dailies – you can simply run them after you finish the expansion.

Early on Other Characters: You can run Rishi even if you are not caught up on the story, as long as you have it unlocked and are level 56. The planet’s level-down-sync is also 56.

How to Get There: You can head to Rishi via either travelling directly in your ship, or by Accepting the Daily Area: Rishi weekly mission from the Solo Tab of the activities finder (icon of ‘three little people’ near your minimap).

Reputation

Reputation is a way of gaining favor with different groups by completing missions for them. As you level up your reputation rank, more rewards for that reputation track become available. Reputation is shared by all your characters on your server, so it’s legacy-wide.

By using multiple characters, you won’t be limited to how many Rishi missions you run, but you will still be gated by how many reputation points you can earn – you can only earn a hard limit of 12,000 reputation points per week.

There is one unified Reputation track for Rishi called People of Rishi. Progress gained on Republic Side won’t need to be redone on Imperial side.

You also get a TON of Rishi reputation just by running the expansion itself – so if you are looking to earn Reputation on Rishi, feel free to also simply run the expansion on other characters in your legacy!

Ranks

As you run Rishi Dailies, you’ll rank up your reputation, and each rank unlocks new rewards from the Rishi Reputation vendor in Raider’s Cove.

  • None – 0 Reputation
  • Outsider – 0/2,500 Reputation (2,500 total points needed)
  • Newcomer – 0/5,000 Reputation (7,500 total points needed)
  • Friend – 0/7,500 Reputation (15,000 total points needed)
  • Hero – 0/10,000  Reputation (25,000 total points needed)
  • Champion – 0/15,000 Reputation (40,000 total points needed)
  • Legend – 0/30,000 Reputation (70,000 total points needed)

Tokens

Each type of token from Rishi gives you a different amount of Reputation, and it also changes based on what various boosts you have and whether you are subscribed or not:

  • Raider’s Cove Saber: 180 Reputation (270 as a subscriber)
  • Exonium Ore: 420 Reputation (630 as a subscriber)
  • Rishii Amulet: 960 Reputation (1440 as a subscriber)

Other Rewards

Depending on your level when completing a Rishi mission, there are also some additional rewards tied to some; exactly what per mission is on a table down below!

  • Conquest Commendations (at max-level, [DAILY] missions give 3 each, [WEEKLY] gives 50):  Conquest Commendations will be awarded for most Planetary Repeatables. It’s used to upgrade virtually every track of gear upgrade, in varying amounts.
  • Tech Fragments (at max-level, [DAILY] missions give 30 each): Tech Fragments are an endgame currency used to buy Legendary Implants, Tacticals, materials for the best Augments in the game, and some older/cosmetic armors.
  • Conquest Gear Piece: at max-level, the Weekly mission will award a Conquest Gear Box in addition. These have a minimum item level of 324, and are green quality.

Earning Reputation

  • The Weekly “Daily Area” mission asks you to complete all 5 dailies and gives you the purple reputation token.
  • Each individual daily gives you a blue reputation item, with the exception of The Great Beast Hunt, which awards a purple.

Missions

[WEEKLY] Daily Area: Rishi

Complete all of these 6 quests on Rishi:

  • [DAILY] A Crew of Your Own
  • [DAILY] A Trail of Light
  • [DAILY] The Great Beast Hunt
  • [DAILY] Red Hull/Howling Tempest Retribution
  • [DAILY] Water’s Bounty

[DAILY] A Crew of Your Own

Tips:

  • This is one of the best and easiest ways in the game to get light or dark side points for your character. Head to the Blaster’s Path Cantina on the north end of Raider’s Cove and go downstairs to Harlow.
  • After choosing either the dark or light option from the questgiver, all you need to do is wait 5 minutes on the timer in your quest log and then speak to the questgiver again to get your 50 dark/light side points.
  • If you travel to a different map, change characters, or log off, the timer will reset. So if there’s other things you want to go do on your character while the timer is running instead of standing there doing nothing, you can, just travel right away and let the timer finish while you’re in your new area without changing areas until the timer completes itself.
  • Then you can go back to the cantina when you are ready!

[DAILY] A Trail of Light

Tips:

  • This mission takes place in the hostile jungle west of Raider’s Cove. Quicktraveling to the Nova Blade Trade Depot will speed things along.
  • The mission is a fairly straightforward macrobinocular-style one. Simply go to the spinning objective marker on your map and stand directly on it.
  • Similar to the image above, the moment you stand directly where the objective marker tells you to, you should get a red “Datastream Detected” pop-up.
  • The moment you get this pop-up, stop, and use the mission item binoculars. There will be a blue datastream visible in the air. Follow this to it’s origination point, and click.
  • You’ll be given a new location twice, going further west each time through nova blade territory. Eventually your objective will update to recover the treasure.
  • To recover the treasure, simply use your new mission item’s AoE on each pile of dirt with a shovel sticking out of it until the treasure comes up. Like the seeker droid, a failed dig might point you to the correct direction if it was close enough.

[DAILY] Red Hull / Howling Tempest Retribution

Tips:

  • This mission will be different depending on your faction. Republic characters will get Red Hull Retribution, and Imperials will get Howling Tempest Retribution. There’s no functional difference, but kills made under one mission will advance a different achievement for 100 kills.
  • This daily takes place on the docks, alleys, and scavenging spaces underneath Raider’s Cove. Upon grabbing the mission you will be tasked with confronting and defeating 3 pirates from a specific gang.
  • Tonvarr Pirates like to hang out at the docks and are sometimes mixed in with packs of carida corsairs. If you head north from the mission terminal and head down into the slums, an arrow on your map will say it leads to a “Private Dock”. This small area usually has enough Tonvarrs.
  • Death’s Claw has a few packs of two members directly south and directly northeast of the Blaster’s Path Cantina.
  • White Maw pirates are sometimes underneath the cove near the beach, or in the same private dock as Tonvarr Pirates are.
  • Carida Corsairs are a bit more plentiful in the slums and docks near the Ravager’s entrance rather than near the cantina.
  • Nova Blade pirates are plentiful just west of the Blaster’s Path Cantina.
  • Regardless of the type of pirate you need, a lap around the cantina and a quick dip in the warehouse where Kai Zykken was, or the docks near ravagers, and you should find all you need.
  • Once found, simply use the mission item flag to turn them hostile, then defeat them.

[DAILY] The Great Beast Hunt

Tips:

  • This mission takes place in the Sky Ridge Island section of Rishi, far north of the starting section. Take a taxi or quicktravel up.
  • In roughly the center of the island, just before the big revanite compound up north, will be the cave and phase you’ll enter.
  • She Who Greedily Devours is a Kell Dragon and the closest thing to a Heroic 2+ mission Rishi has. That said, she is a gold-level enemy who starts off with a log “spikes” cast. This can’t be interrupted but the damage is pretty low and steady. Any player should have no problem tackling this, especially if a companion is brought.
  • Note: while spikes can’t be interrupted the usual way, She Who Greedily Devours is stunnable. Juggernauts with access to Force Choke have a fun opportunity to see a dancing Kell Dragon.

[DAILY] Water’s Bounty

Tips:

  • This mission takes place in the Sky Ridge Island section of Rishi, far north of the starting section. Take a taxi or quicktravel up.
  • Starting from the Rishii village, take the bold yellow road on the map north and follow it around the central objective marker, defeating any grophets you see.
  • Once three pieces of meat are acquired, your objective marker will update to a specific spot to the west. Head there and jump down the waterfalls to find an interactable winch.
  • Using the winch will summon the Skarkla you’ll need to defeat and loot. It’s a regular silver-level enemy and won’t pose a challenge. Head back to the Rishii bird village to complete!
  • There’s also a bonus objective for a high amount of “water creature” kills. This is any of the shore crabs you find along the rivers and falls on the island.

Tree: Commemorative Meat Tree

Costs only 1 credit, no Reputation required

This is actually a bit of a joke item. When this expansion was first released, one of the quests involved hanging meat on a tree to lure a creature in you needed to hunt down. Unfortunately, clicking on the trees was not well designed, and it took players up to 20 minutes of waiting before they could click the trees and move on with their quest. Once the bug was fixed, the developers added the “Meat Tree” decoration to the vendor as a funny way to acknowledge the mistake. Players who played during this time remember the Meat Tree fondly, and in general, it’s a funny and weird decoration you can get 999 copies of almost for free.

Schematic: Black and Medium Blue Dye Module

The Black and Medium Blue Dye Module can earned through the Reputation system, by reaching the Champion rank with Rishi. Once you have reached Champion, you can buy the schematic for this dye from the Rishi vendor for 100,000 Credits. The schematic, once learned, allows you to craft Black and Medium Blue Dye Modules with Artifice level 500. If you have not reached Champion with Rishi, or do not have the Artifice crew skill, you can buy this dye from the GTN from other players.
