Ossus Cipher Secret Achievement

The Ossus Cipher secret achievement is a hidden set of books scattered across the planet of Ossus in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Finding all 5 books will get you the hidden achievement ‘The Ossus Cipher’ in the Ossus Exploration category – there’s no reward other than 10 achievement points, and it’s not required for any other achievements, but it is a fun treasure hunt style secret to go looking for!

This strange cipher may be related to some sort of code used by underworld traders, though for what specific purpose, you can’t say.

Secrets of Ossus, Vol 01

This small book contributes to the Ossus Cipher achievement. Either faction can simply use their Ossus Farms taxi point to run straight to a circular farmhouse behind the walls of the republic outpost. Empire players will want to approach from the east for this reason. It can be on top of a few objects in the house, but it should always be in the house.

Secrets of Ossus, Vol 02

This small book contributes to the Ossus Cipher achievement. Empire players will quickly be able to fast travel right to the cave, but republic players will need to approach from the canyons map. Inside, the book can be in a few places. Under the waterfall or on a box.

Closest Republic Travel: Into the Hive Heroic Travel

Secrets of Ossus, Vol 03

This small book contributes to the Ossus Cipher achievement. Imperial players can use their dead forest quicktravel and be right on top of the tight grouping of ruins the book can spawn inside, while republic players will arrive faster using the “Into the Hive” heroic travel.

Secrets of Ossus, Vol 04

This small book contributes to the Ossus Cipher achievement. This one is located on the shuttle landing pad on the northwest corner of the canyons map – Both factions can use their dead forest quick travel to get here, but Imp players should take care to not go too far, the republic defense turrets are pretty nearby.
