How to get the D4-V3 Pirate Astromech Droid

The D4-V3 Pirate Astromech Droid exists somewhere in the games files, and can be seen in the decorations list as a preview of a decoration. However, there does not seem to be an actual way to get the D4-V3 Pirate Astromech Droid ingame. It may have been meant for a Cartel Market item that never came out, or for an achievement that was never released.

This pet was possibly added to the game's files and decorations list in update 3.0. It seems it may never have been actually added, but I found an old post that states this text "Bioware look to be teaming up with Raptr, and if you join SWTOR through Raptr you will get a D4-V3 Pirate Astromech Droid Mini-Pet" here but whether this promotion ever went through is unclear.
