This guide will cover the Talisman Collector achievement on Yavin 4, worth 50 Achievement points in the exploration category, which needs you to have located all five Ancient Talismans on Yavin 4 and rewards you with Legacy Title: Grave Robber and is a Hidden Achievement.
The “Talismans” in question are five different items all cleverly hidden in different nooks and crannies around Yavin 4. Much like the Sith Ghosts that wander the planet, clicking to interact with these will result in a knockback and a buff for those around it. This serves a greater purpose for yet another achievement, but isn’t important to do all at once if you’re only looking for Talisman Collector on it’s own. Read more further down for the other achievement.
Below, an image of each talisman will be provided along with a short description of where it is located – but if a real map of their locations would help, please view our Interactive Yavin 4 Map here.

Talisman of Exar Kun
Travel to the Verdant Swamp and head all the way south. Jump onto the large stone hill up against the southern cliffs and follow the cracks to find the stone tablet jammed in one of the divots. This is Exar Kun’s Talisman. It’s toward the Southeast corner, so hit the rock wall on the south and just follow it east.

Talisman of Marka Ragnos
Just outside of the Northern Cave leading to Prowler’s Trail, hop up the rocks to the north to get onto a small plateau. Nestled in the rocks in the corner is this interactable plaque. This is Marka Ragnos’ Talisman. In the image, you can see the entrance to the Prowler’s Trail cave in the background. Face it and follow the wall left and you should find this spot no problem.

Talisman of Naga Sadow
At the southern end of Prowler’s Trail you’ll find a natural rock basin of water filled by waterfalls, with one large Massassi standing in the center. Head behind the Massassi and check the floor at the base of the waterfalls. You’ll find the helm of Naga Sadow here, which is his Talisman.

Talisman of Tulak Hord
Inside the Massassi Village, the largest main hut is enterable, and contains a crazed Jedi. Just to the right of the entrance as you come in, you’ll find the stone tablet inside of a basket that is the Talisman of Tulak Hord.

Talisman of the Unknown
Far to the north end of the Training Grounds is a hidden glade, very similar to the hidden forest in the north area of the Temple Ruins. After hopping up the stone ramp to get into the glade, you’ll find a dark and spooky area with a stone altar. At the top of the altar is a pile of skulls pictured above, with the top skull sitting in some sort of ancient mantle. Clicking on this buried mantle will activate the mysterious 5th Talisman. Be warned: you can safely get credit for this Talisman by interacting with it on it’s own, but doing so while having the other Ghost and Talisman buffs WILL summon the Ancient Threat. Dying won’t void the achievement, thankfully.

Further Achievement Hunting
The buffs recieved from each Talisman do serve an ultimate purpose, along with the Ghost Buffs found around Yavin. These buffs combine to help summon the Ancient Threat, a ghost that can be fought with a dedicated operation team like a world boss. This is a lot more difficult than simply exploring Yavin 4, but if you’re up to it, check out the Ancient Threat guide here.
