<\/p>\nYour Legacy in Star Wars: The Old Republic is a system that connects all of your characters on a server together – and the more your progress your legacy, the more unlocks will be come available to you, including unlocks that allow you to move or travel faster, access more convenience options, and use some fun abilities. This guide will go over all the legacy and character unlocks in the game.<\/p>\n
Most of these unlocks are located in your Legacy Panel. Your Legacy Panel is an area in-game that shows many of your legacy-wide unlocks and accomplishments. You can use the menu on the left of the legacy panel to explore to jump to different sections.<\/p>\n
To open your Legacy Panel, go to the main menu at the top, roll over the icon of a person, and choose \u201cLegacy\u201d. The default key to open the Legacy Window is \u201cY\u201d on your keyboard.<\/p>\n

Here’s some of my favorite unlocks that you can get in the Legacy panel! You can read more abut them in the longer list below.<\/p>\n

Rocket Boost:<\/strong> Rocket Boost, sometimes known as ‘Rocket Boots’, is by far players favorite unlock in the entire game. Rocket Boost allows you to give your character a temporary speed boost in the form of a pair of rocket boots, allowing you to travel quickly even while indoors, and is especially loved in places where you aren’t allowed to mount up like inside buildings.\u00a0 (2,000,000 Credits and<\/em> Legacy Level 1 per server or<\/strong> 400 CC per Server)<\/em><\/li>\n![](\"https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/prioritytransportunlock1.png\"){kind=spacer}
Quick Travel Time Reduction:<\/strong> My favorite types of unlocks are ones that allow me to travel around quicker – with the “Legacy Travel” unlock, you can reduce your Quick Travel time down to zero.\u00a0(600,000 Credits total and Legacy Level 1 or<\/strong> 330 CC, per Serve<\/em>r)<\/li>\n![](\"https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/celerity2.png\")
Improved Mounting:<\/strong> Although it’s really expensive at 2 million credits, frequent players really enjoy the Improved Mounting unlock – it’s legacy-wide, and allows you to hop on your speeder without having to stop while you are running. Field Respecialization:<\/strong> Field Respec is really useful for players who want to adjust their tree, discipline or Combat Style on the fly. With the Field Respecialization unlock, you can change Combat Styles and<\/em> change choices in your tree. You must be outside of an instance to change Combat Styles and<\/em> there are a few other restrictions, but this unlock allows you to not have to be in a cantina \/ rest area to switch.\u00a0 (200,000 Credits and<\/em> Level 10 and<\/em> Legacy Level 5 per server or<\/strong> 350 CC per Server)<\/em><\/li>\n![](\"https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/legacyrepairbot1.png\")
Basic Field Repair Droid:<\/strong> The Repair Droid is the fastest way to quickly sell your junk items – and only costs 50,000 credits once you’ve reached Legacy Level 5. Field Personal Cargo Hold:<\/strong> Much like the travel unlocks save me time, I also like unlocks that save me loading screens or running time. The Cargo Hold lets me find any items I have stashed in there, like gear, without having to run to find a bank, I like it especially when I’m at a vendor looking for something. Field Legacy Cargo Hold:<\/strong> The Legacy Cargo Hold unlock is even more useful, as many legacy items are shared between characters, like gear sets. Inventory Rows:<\/strong> I love not having to deal with my giant pile of junk items, companion gifts and random gear I pick up until I absolutely have to. More inventory space also makes it easier to carry around multiple sets of gear. (375,000 Credits total per Character or<\/strong> 850 CC per Character total or<\/strong> 1,950 CC per Account total)<\/em><\/li>\n![](\"https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/supermissilebay-1.png\")
Cargo Bays:<\/strong> I am a big hoarder – I collect all kinds of stuff in the game. Having more space for it all makes it easier to sort and organize, so I always buy the max amount of bank space as I can in any game. In my cargo bays, I collect and save bound items and armors that I can’t get again later. (Cargo Bays: 10 million Credits total per character or<\/strong> 2,820 CC total per Account)<\/em><\/li>\n Legacy Bays:<\/strong> Additional Legacy Banks are also really useful, though less necessary, as you can always throw any legacy-bound items in one of your other character’s banks, but are really useful to have when organizing items. Operations Training Dummy: <\/strong>This unlock is absolutely necessary for players playing at a higher skill level who want to practice combat in a controlled environment. There are technically training dummies scattered around the galaxy, but this one is in the privacy of your ship. Priority Transport: Personal Starship:<\/strong> I love this little unlock – it allows you to immediately travel to your ship. Great for when you are questing – just be aware if you are doing your class story, sometimes things can get a little funky if you miss a checkpoint – you’ll need to go back down to your planet to hit it! Priority Transport: Capital World<\/strong> I also tend to travel to the Priority Transport planets quite a bit – personally I really like th Coruscant\/Dromund Kass Capital World one as it puts you right in the middle of the plaza where there are different types of vendors.
