The Togruta species will become available to all SWTOR players on July 21st, 2015. To unlock the species, it costs 600 Cartel Coins, or can be bought from other players on the GTN (likely 600k+ credits). To make a new character as a Togruta, you must first log into \u00a0an existing character and unlock it. You will then be able to make a new Togruta, or change existing characters into Togrutans.<\/p>\n

UPDATE: Patch 3.3 and Togruta are being delayed.<\/p>\n

We are running into some issues with Game Update 3.3, and so we are going to be delaying tonight’s scheduled maintenance. It is still our goal to get out Game Update 3.3 as soon as possible. I will pass on more updates tomorrow. Again, there will be no maintenance tonight which will delay the launch of Game Update 3.3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/form>\n<\/blockquote>\n

UPDATE 2: Togruta became available on the morning of July 22nd, 2015.<\/p>\n

Togruta will be able to wear helmets, but they will not be shown on the character (hidden head slot). This is due to the clipping issues caused by their head-tails.\u00a0We do not know what their customization options will be yet!<\/p>\n

Here’s the first official picture released the day before Togruta come out – it is a male Togruta Jedi, on SWTOR’s Twitter account.<\/p>\n

The most well-known Togruta in the game is Ashara Zavros, one of the Sith Inquisitor’s companions.<\/p>\n

Ashara can also customized to look like the companions below, but she also has a very unique purple customization from a Cartel Pack.<\/p>\n
