{"id":49422,"date":"2026-09-21T18:04:19","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T01:04:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/?p=49422"},"modified":"2026-09-21T18:04:19","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T01:04:19","slug":"swtor-imperial-agent-expert-venture-guide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/swtor-imperial-agent-expert-venture-guide\/","title":{"rendered":"SWTOR Imperial Agent Expert Venture Guide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Imperial Agent Expert Venture in Star Wars: The Old Republic is the most difficult way to experience the game, starting at level 1 on a brand new Imperial Agent from level 1 on Hutta, all the way up to level 80 (or potentially 85!) and all the expansion planets and stories. Every enemy you fight in the open world will be much stronger, which will make things quite interesting as you&#8217;ll also be tasked with hunting down high-value targets on the earlier planets, exploring obscure areas, and completing heroics against venture-boosted enemies. In the later part of the game, you&#8217;ll be expected to complete all the expansion stories, daily areas, and then you get to choose between doing group content like Master Mode flashpoints and Operations, or running solo-focused content like Dynamic Encounters.<\/p>\n<p><em>All of this information is from a mix of the Classic venture info seen on the Public Test Server and potential objectives that aren&#8217;t visible in-game yet. There is a good chance much of it may change before the Expert Ventures system is released in 8.0 which the developers are aiming to release at the end of 2026. Many of the screenshots are also from the unfinished Public Test Server for the Classic version of ventures &#8211; you can see many unfinished graphics, labels, and objectives there. My favorite is the pie image placeholders.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>How to Start<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/swtor-ventures-preview-_0008_Layer-0.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To start a new Expert Venture, choose <strong>Expert<\/strong> when you go to create a character (rather than the Full Campaign, which is what you would pick for a normal new character.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-49419\" src=\"https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/swtor-expert-venture-objectives.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/swtor-expert-venture-objectives.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/swtor-expert-venture-objectives-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/swtor-expert-venture-objectives-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ventures are only available to <strong>subscribers,<\/strong> and that includes the Imperial Agent Expert Venture.
