<\/a><\/p>\nNormally you would need to raise your companion’s influence with a mix of questing, crew skills, and companion gifts, but a commander’s compendium item allows you to quickly bypass that process.<\/p>\n
How to Get a Commander’s Compendium<\/h2>\n
There are three different ways to get a companion Compendium.<\/p>\n
Cartel Market<\/h3>\n

You can buy a Commander’s Compendium from the Cartel Market for 1,000 Cartel Coins, or a pack of three (for three companions) for 2,500 Cartel Coins.<\/p>\n

Every companion has an influence level, and you can see their influence level on the Companions and Contacts window, in a circle beside their name.<\/p>\n
However I do NOT recommend<\/strong> buying compendiums with Cartel Coins – there’s a cheaper way to get one that doesn’t involve spending your precious CC!<\/p>\n The Commander’s Compendium is also often available on the GTN – but they seem to be very overpriced compared to the third option, so I don’t recommend buying these.<\/p>\n You can also trade 3 Dark Projects + 4,250,000 Credits<\/strong> for a Commander’s Compendium at the V1C-0RY Conquest Vendor<\/strong> in the Strongholds & Crew Skills section of the Republic or Imperial fleet.<\/p>\n Dark Projects are a type of crafted item that can be crafted by any crew skill. If you don’t craft, you can buy three directly from the GTN<\/a>.<\/p>\n If you do want to craft them yourself, the Dark Project crafting schematic becomes available from the crew skill trainer at crafting level 150 for all crew skills. How to Craft Guide<\/a><\/p>\n They are a bit complicated to craft as they require multiple steps, but they are used in multiple parts of the game including some cool decorations and for conquest crafting. Dark Projects require 8 Refined Isotope Stabilizers, an Iokath Recombinator and a War Supplies: Invasion Force.<\/p>\n Invasion Forces can be crafted by combining one of each of the normal war supplies, an the schematic is also available to all crew skills at rank 150.<\/p>\n The normal individual war supplies are crafted across multiple crew skills and then need to be combined into the big War Supplies: Invasion Force<\/strong> item.<\/p>\n The Isotope and the Recombinator are a bit harder to track down as they are considered materials from previous expansions and are no longer part of the normal rotation of rewards<\/p>\n The Refined Isotope Stabilizer can most easily be found from the GTN or the jawa scrap vendor in the Cartel Bazaar section of the fleet named Mnek, who sells blue crafting materials in return for Scrap: Assorted Droid Parts. You’ll need 8 of these, and they cost 10 scraps each. Jawa Scrap Guide<\/a><\/p>\n To spend your Jawa scrap, head to the Fleet, and go to the Cartel Bazaar, which is the northern elevator Republic side and the Southern elevator Imperial side.<\/p>\n The Iokath Recombinator can be bought from a vendor on Odessen in the Alliance Staging area from the Recovered Goods Vendor named Nessl Vaccan, near the Umbara flashpoint entrance. It costs a straight 260,000 credits<\/strong>, so make sure to check the GTN and see if you can get it cheaper there first.<\/p>\n Getting all those components together can be a huge pain – it’s often much cheaper to just buy the Dark Projects straight form the GTN!<\/p>\nGTN<\/h3>\n
