Pursuit of Ruin \/ Galactic Threads&#8221; &#8212; Swtorista\" src=\"https:\/\/swtorista.com\/articles\/what-to-expect-in-update-7-8-in-swtor-pursuit-of-ruin-galactic-threads\/embed\/#?secret=oKwK0tPHKV#?secret=oS0Ifd7uqk\" data-secret=\"oS0Ifd7uqk\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div class=\"panel panel-info forums\"><div class=\"panel-body\">\n<div class=\"title\">Game Update 7.8a<\/div>\n<p><strong>Wreckage on Dantooine Dynamic Encounters<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Spore-Coated Mass, Ejected Sludge Container, and Supercooled Crystalline Shard interactables in the Dantooine Crash Site now despawn and respawn as intended.<\/li>\n<li>The Orbital Core now gives progress towards the mission &#8220;[WEEKLY] Priority Targets&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>The Orbital Core weekly mission can now be repeated three times a week.<\/li>\n<li>[Wreckage on Dantooine] Corrected an issue that prevented the [Glacial Encounters] and [Cold, Hard Data] missions from being granted correctly if certain biome crossover encounters were active.<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic Encounters on Dantooine now give progress towards the mission &#8220;[WEEKLY] The Shifting Tides&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>[Caretaker Unit K-6] Fixed an issue where the Caretaker K-6 droid could be defeated without completing the event.<\/li>\n<li>[Glacial Trespass Biome] The Security Terminal conversation now advances the biome\u2019s progress as intended.<\/li>\n<li>[The Cryonest Matron] Decreased the boss&#8217; health and the increased the respawn time on the minions to balance the difficulty of the encounter.<\/li>\n<li>[Gelid Tendrils] The Tendrils can now be defeated and the encounter advances as intended.<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic Encounters<\/li>\n<li>Timers are now shown in the tooltip when hovering over a Dynamic Encounter icon on the World Map as intended.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Items<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue where the Contained Spore Bomb wasn&#8217;t applying vulnerability properly.<\/li>\n<li>The Greb Besrik Holo Decoration can now be unlocked.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Missions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>[Galactic Threads Crit Path] Fixed an issue that caused missions to be granted repeatedly or not be granted at all.\n<ul>\n<li>Hotfix was deployed on December 9, 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>[Dark Heart of the Fortress] Darth Nul&#8217;s Datacron now appears properly throughout the mission.<\/li>\n<li>[Dark Heart of the Fortress] Lana Beniko now only appears once during the cinematic.<\/li>\n<li>[On the Run] French client only. Characters\u2019 lips and voiced dialogue are now synced during this scene.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>[R4-Anomaly] Corrected an issue that caused IP-CPT to activate Disproportionate Intrusion Response while invulnerable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Class Balance Changes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hunter Killer Droid\/Advanced Recon Droid cooldown increased from 20s to 45s, Range decreased from 30m to 10m, AoE size decreased from 6m to 5m.<\/li>\n<li>Hunter Killer Droid\/Advanced Recon Droid no longer gives an unintended 30% AoE damage reduction and now properly gives 30% damage reduction while stunned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Quite a few fixes this time around, with a pretty heavy focus on the new Dantooine Biomes encounters.
