Dynamic Encounters are scheduled, timed quests on different planets in Star Wars: The Old Republic. This guide goes over all the Dynamic Encounters on\u00a0Ord Mantell!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rewards<\/h2>\n

There’s a bunch of different rewards you can get from Tython Dynamic Encounters.<\/p>\n

All Encounters<\/strong><\/p>\n

All encounters give credits and experience.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

At level 80, these quests also give 50 Tech Fragments<\/a> and 3 Conquest Commendations<\/a>, which are used for end-game gear or to earn credits or cosmetic items.<\/p>\n

Zylthan Foothill Clipper<\/strong><\/p>\n

Completing all of the encounters at least once and<\/em> completing 30 Ord Mantell Dynamic Encounters total will earn you an achievement and a unique mount called the Zylthan Foothill Clipper<\/strong>. You can check your progress in your Achievements in the section Dynamic Encounters \u2192 Ord Mantell \u2192 Mastery.<\/p>\n

Once you have earned this achievement, you can get the mount on your other characters by going into the achievement panel and right-clicking it, which will add it to your mounts list if you have speeder piloting (it will not give you an item in your inventory).<\/p>\n

Mantellian Wardrobe decoration –<\/strong> random drop.<\/p>\n

\"Two\"<\/p>\n

Ord Mantell Encounters<\/h2>\n

Here are all the encounters you can find on Ord Mantell. Ord Mantell can be visited by any characters on the Republic side – Imperial players can not fly or get to Ord Mantell. Troopers and Smugglers start off on Ord Mantell and can work on these as early as level 1, but may have trouble defeating some of the enemies until around level 10. Jedi Consulars and Jedi Knights can get to Ord Mantell once they have finished their origin story on Coruscant and earned their ship so they can fly there.<\/p>\n

Ethen Remak<\/h3>\n

Description:<\/strong> Legendary for his unusual height and strength, Ethen Remak is attempting to recover a lost Datacron. Defeat him and claim it for the Republic!<\/p>\n

Steps: <\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Defeat Ethen Remak<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This boss is located down in the sandy areas of the beach, not up in building above.<\/em><\/p>\n

    Inside Job<\/h3>\n

    Description:<\/strong> A Separatist defector is trying to make a clean break. Help wipe the defector’s data – and damage the Separatists databanks.<\/p>\n

    Step 1: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Collect Stealth Field Generator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \"\"<\/p>\n

      Right click the stealth generator that has a marker on the map, it is a glowing blue back pack. This will give you a stealth temporary ability – you do not need to use it if you do not want to. Using any other abilities will break your stealth. You can sabotage in stealth. Your stealth generator only lasts 1 minute and 30 seconds though.<\/p>\n

      • 0\/5 Sabotage Separatist Databanks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The glowing blue databanks are in the northern part of the tunnels – see the markers on the map.<\/em><\/p>\n

        Step 3:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        • Delete Personnel Data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          \"\"<\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Bash the keyboard or try an admin bypass<\/li>\n
          2. Access Personnel Databank<\/li>\n
          3. Mass Delete Records<\/li>\n
          4. Steal the Data or Skip Backup<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Progress:<\/strong> Group Shared<\/p>\n

            Timer:<\/strong> 30 minutes<\/p>\n

            ACHIEVEMENT – Lax Security Protocols<\/h3>\n

            Lax Security Protocols Achievement<\/strong> – The Separatists on Ord Mantell seem to need some reminders about basic security practices (part of the Inside Job dynamic encounter).<\/p>\n

            While you are running around inside the tunnel of Inside Job, there is a keycard that has been left on top of a barrel. I found it near the little side room along the long tunnel marked on the map. It is very very small, it does not glow blue, and you can right click it to get it.<\/p>\n

            \"\"<\/p>\n

            Normally, at the end of the dynamic encounter, here is an option that is grayed out- #3. [Insert Keycard.]\n

            \"\"<\/p>\n

            If you have the keycard, you can choose #3 to insert keycard and you’ll get the achievement when you are done.<\/p>\n

            \"\"<\/p>\n

            Power Walking<\/h3>\n

            \"\"<\/p>\n

            Description:<\/strong> Republic Command has sent a Walker to resource-starved Fort Garnik. Give it a test drive and fight back the Separatists!<\/p>\n

            Step 1: <\/strong><\/p>\n

            • Pilot the Walker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              To get into the walker, walk near it where the map marker is on the map. Then a temporary ability should show up called Pilot Walker<\/em><\/p>\n

              • Test Power Stomp<\/li>\n
              • Test Heavy Cannon<\/li>\n
              • Test Orbital Strike<\/li>\n
              • Defeat Separatist Forces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                You’ll become a walker and have temporary abilities you can use.<\/em><\/p>\n

                Step 3:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  To dismount use the pink ability on your 8th spot on your quickbar.<\/em><\/p>\n

                  Savrip Skullcaver<\/h3>\n

                  Description:<\/strong> This Savrip Skullcaver has been identified as the leader in recent deadly attacks on Republic squads.. Eliminate the threat!<\/p>\n

                    Seperatist Field Commander<\/h3>\n

                    Description:<\/strong> A high-level Seperatist tactician has taken up a position in this area. This is the Republic’s chance to strike!<\/p>\n

                      I had a hard time finding out how to get this one. Find the vendor on the map and then head south from it up a little ramp pathway.<\/em><\/p>\n

                      Driving The Point<\/h3>\n

                      \"\"<\/p>\n

                      Description:<\/strong> An eccentric droid engineer requests your help in assembling an “improved” battle droid to prove his worth to the Republic.<\/p>\n

                            Your little droid will stay with you for 30 minutes as long as you are on Ord Mantell.<\/em><\/p>\n

                            ACHIEVEMENT – Driven Home:<\/strong> Complete the Dynamic Encounter Driving the Point after building each type of droid. (Complete the encounter three times, use a different droid each time.) ((I did not test this on the Public Test Server.))<\/p>\n

                            Good Mantellian<\/h3>\n

                            Description:<\/strong> A group of Separatist defectors has surrendered. Ensure their safety–and the Republic’s.<\/p>\n

                            Right-click the Separatist Defectors to scan them. They do not glow or look clickable until you hover your mouse over them.<\/em><\/p>\n

                            \"\"<\/p>\n

                            Right-click the Injured Defectors to aid them. They do not glow or look clickable until you hover your mouse over them.<\/em><\/p>\n

                            Step 1: <\/strong><\/p>\n

                            • 0\/10 Scan Defectors for Weapons<\/li>\n

                              Step 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                              • Destroy Mortar Emplacements 1\/5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                Go to the marked location on the map to right-click the glowing blue stands that will “grapple” you up to where the Separatists are.<\/em><\/p>\n
