A Security Key is like a second password – except it’s randomized, and shows up your smart phone. So when you go to log in to your SWTOR account, you’ll type in your username, normal password, and your Security Key from your phone. As a bonus, it also allows to skip the one-time passwords that sometimes are required via email to log in to your account.
