Have you always wanted access to the Collector’s Edition vendor, but didn’t have $150 it cost when it came out, and don’t want to buy a code from shady dealers? Great news! You can now buy a Cartel Market item that gives you access to the Collector’s Edition vendor.<\/p>\n

The Collector’s Edition Vendor Access<\/strong> unlock costs 2,000 Cartel Coins<\/strong>, can can be found on the Cartel Market as an item you buy only with Cartel Coins – it can not be traded, or bought and sold on the GTN. You also receive the VIP wristband unlock automatically, which gives you access to the upper center area of the Fleet if you don’t already have access. This is for all the characters on your account<\/strong>, you do not need to buy this unlock more than once. Once you have the unlock purchased, you go up the elevators in the center area of the fleet where the Cantina is to reach the VIP section where the vendor is located.<\/p>\n

Is it worth it?<\/h2>\n

If you are trying to figure out if this is worth buying – it’s up to you!<\/p>\n

The items are unique, but older, and have been around since the launch of the game, however there was no way to get them unless you had that coveted physical Collector’s Edition code until now. Some players really like the Imperial Trooper’s armor set, as it’s the only true dark-side Trooper outfit in the game, though it is locked to Imperial side.<\/p>\n

All of the items are bind-on-pickup except two of the dyes, so be aware that the faction-locked items can’t be traded between your characters, and are not legacy-bound (though the unlock itself is account-wide.) Personally, I would not recommend this unlock unless you have wanted access to this vendor for a long time, and there are specific items you want from the vendor. If you have access to the upper area of the fleet, I have heard you can now preview the items even if you do not have the Collector’s Edition Vendor Access.<\/p>\n
