I wanted to share some more information around how Fen Zeil and the Shadow Syndicate reputation will work once Galactic Season 3 is live.<\/p>\n
Obtaining Syndicate Plans after Galactic Season 3 starts<\/strong>
\nPreviously we announced that Shadow Syndicate Plans would continue to drop until the start of Galactic Season 3, as long as players hadn\u2019t completed the Shadow Syndicate reputation. When Galactic Season 3 starts, these plans will still be available but we will be adding an additional requirement for obtaining them.<\/p>\nWith Galactic Season 3, Shadow Syndicate Plans will drop from mobs around the galaxy for players who<\/p>\n
- \n
- Have not maxed out the Shadow Syndicate reputation track<\/li>\n
- Have Fen Zeil as an active companion<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
This additional requirement will prevent issues of players trying to increase the reputation of past Galactic Seasons while a new season is running. Please note that Syndicate Plans will no longer be obtainable from group content, as these will instead drop items related to the new Galactic Season.<\/p>\n
We intend to use this structure going forward so players always have an opportunity to complete the Galactic Seasons reputation tracks.<\/p>\n

Earning Fen Zeil<\/h2>\n
The first step is to get yourself the new Duros companion, Fen Zeil, who could be earned quite easily and was even available to free-to-play players, by earning the first level in Galactic Seasons 2.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 To open the Galactic Seasons menu, roll over the icon of a person in the main menu, and choose Login & Seasons Rewards from the dropdown menu. <\/p>\nIn the Galactic Season panel, you can see what level you are at near the top left. To gain a level in Galactic Seasons, you need to gain 8 Galactic Seasons points, which you can earn by completing objectives. You can see what objectives are available by clicking the Daily and Weekly buttons on the top right.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nTo earn Fen Zeil, the Duros companion, you need to complete 8 points worth of objectives – some objectives are worth more than others, and you can see their value by clicking on them in the objectives list. Only the activates listed in the Seasons Objectives tab count for Galactic Seasons points.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nOnce you have earned 8 points, you will be able to “Claim” your reward from the Galactic Seasons track.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nThis will give you a box item in your inventory – you’ll need to open the box, and it will give you two items.<\/p>\n

“The Shadow of the Underworld” Unlock:<\/strong> This is what will start the quest for Fen Zeil. Right-click this item to use it – you will need to be level 24 or higher.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n

Encrypted Transmission:<\/strong> This item is mainly for players who have already completed this quest and just want to get their Duros companion right away.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nQuests<\/h2>\n
Once you use the Fen Zeil item, you will be given the quest called The Shadow of the Underworld\u00a0<\/strong>which will send you to the Upper Office atrium section of Nar Shaddaa, on the bottom left of the Nar Shaddaa map. This will let you speak and meet with your new companion, Fen Zeil, and give you a second quest called The Shadow Syndicate<\/strong>. This second quest will lead you to a Togruta in the Lower Promenade of Nar Shaddaa, who will explain that she wants you to bring her\u00a0 Underworld Syndicate Plans<\/strong>.<\/p>\nUnderworld Syndicate Plans<\/h2>\n
Underworld Syndicate Plans<\/strong> are a type of currency you can collect that is directly tied to Galactic Seasons and The Shadow Syndicate Reputation track. You can see how many plans you have so far by opening your inventory and choosing the “currency” tab on the top right. You can hold up to 200 at a time and you can only earn up to 200 per week.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nEarning Plans<\/h3>\n
You can earn Underworld Syndicate Plans in this way:<\/strong><\/p>\n
- \n
- Galactic Season Objectives grant 10-15 Underworld Syndicate Plans<\/li>\n
- Flashpoints grant 2-4 Underworld Syndicate Plans<\/li>\n
- Uprisings grant 3-5 Underworld Syndicate Plans<\/li>\n
- 8 Player Operations grant 12-18 Underworld Syndicate Plans<\/li>\n
- 16 Player Operations grant 14-24 Underworld Syndicate Plans<\/li>\n
- Single-Boss Operations Lair Bosses (including Event Lair Bosses) grant 2-6 Underworld Syndicate Plans<\/li>\n
- Random from Enemies<\/li>\n
- Random with a Higher-chance from Enemies on Corellia, Makeb, Mek-Sha, Nar Shaddaa, Quesh, Rishi, Taris, and Tatooine<\/li>\n
- From Galactic Seasons Levels as a Subscriber (2, 12, 22, 32, 42, 52, 62, 72, 82, 92 at ten per level, for a total of 100)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Underworld Syndicate Plans from Enemies<\/h3>\n
Players who do not want to do group activities like Flashpoints or Operations will want to work on fighting enemies on planets with known Syndicate ties, which have a higher chance of dropping Underworld Syndicate Plans from enemies. These higher-chance planets include Corellia, Makeb, Mek-Sha, Nar Shaddaa, Quesh, Rishi, Taris, and Tatooine.<\/p>\n
Informative Jawa Brrazz & Jawa Intel<\/h3>\n

You can increase your chances of enemies dropping Underworld Syndicate Plans for 60 minutes by using a Jawa Intel<\/strong> item. You can buy this item for 500 pieces of Scrap: Jawa Junk<\/strong>, sometimes known as purple Jawa Junk, from a Jawa hidden in the Cartel Bazaar section of the fleet. This Jawa is located in the northern elevator of the fleet Republic side, and the southern elevator of the fleet Imperial side, and he is hidden behind a shipping crate behind some other Jawas. It is bound to your character once you buy it.<\/p>\nBrazz Jawa Bug:<\/strong><\/span> You will not be able to talk to Brrazz in a group. Leave group to speak with him.<\/p>\n
Jawa Intel Tips:\u00a0<\/strong>A player named Aldo messaged me and mentioned that they used the Jawa Intel on a Syndicate world (like Tatooine) and received very few plans while doing Heroics with the Jawa Intel active. They recommended to save this for when you plan on doing group Flashpoints and Operations as they seem more likely to drop there.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nJawa Junk<\/h3>\n
If you happen to have any green Jawa junk you can turn it in for blue Jawa junk, and if you happen to have blue jawa junk you can turn it in for purple by talking to a nearby Jawa named Fuleesh who will convert it for you.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nThe Jawa mentions you can get purple Jawa Junk from deconstructing items. I tried deconstructing a blue-bordered pieces of 320 gear I got from a Flashpoint but did not receive any Jawa Junk.<\/p>\n
You used to receive Jawa Junk from Conquest, but you do not in the current expansion. You can still get small amounts of Jawa Junk from the Daily Login Rewards.<\/p>\n
I was able to get Jawa Junk from deconstructing old pre-expansion level 75 gear I had left over though!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nTurning in Underworld Syndicate Plans<\/h2>\n
To turn in Underworld Syndicate Plans, go back to the Togruta named Qi’us Dnar in the Lower Promenade, north of the big Hutt Statue.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nWhen turning in plans, you have a choice of how many to turn in, they all give the same value\/ratio when actually used. Turn in as many as you want.<\/p>\n

- 1 Underworld Syndicate Plan = 25 Reputation Points (with my boosts gave me 43<\/span>)<\/li>\n
- 5 Underworld Syndicate Plans = 100 Reputation Points (with my boosts gave me 215 – the tooltip\/cutscene for the item is wrong and its fine to turn in 5<\/span>)<\/li>\n
- 10 Underworld Syndicate Plans = 250 Reputation Points (with my boosts gave me 431<\/span>)<\/li>\n
- 20 Underworld Syndicate Plans = 500 Reputation Points (with my boosts gave me 862<\/span>)<\/li>\n
- 100 Underworld Syndicate Plans = 2,500 Reputation Points (with my boosts would give me around 4,310<\/span>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Season Objectives<\/h2>\n
There are two Galactic Seasons weekly objectives that are related to the Underworld Syndicate.<\/p>\n
Infiltrating the Competition<\/h3>\n
The first objective is Infiltrating the Competition which asks you to obtain 40 Underworld Syndicate Plans before the week is up. This will give you 8 Galactic Seasons points.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nBUG:<\/strong><\/span> There is some type of bug related to Underworld Syndicate Plans being counted for the weekly. In the screenshot below I have earned a total of 37 (and spent 20), but the counter for the Galactic Seasons Objective only counted 27 – ten were not counted for some reason. Maybe this was the highest amount I had before I turned some in?<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nMutual Beneficiary<\/h3>\n
The second objective is Mutual Beneficiary which asks you to earn 1,000 reputation with the Shadow Syndicate before the week is up. This will give you 8 Galactic Seasons points. 1,000 Reputation is about 40 Underworld Syndicate Plans worth of items.<\/p>\n

The Shadow Syndicate reputation track doesn’t have any direct rewards – instead earning reputation with them helps you progress your Galactic Seasons track quicker which has a large variety of cosmetic items including mounts, armors, weapons, decorations and more. Doing the two weekly Galactic Seasons Objectives involving earning reputation and plans will get you 16 points per week for the Galactic Seasons track.<\/p>\n
- 5 Underworld Syndicate Plans = 100 Reputation Points (with my boosts gave me 215 – the tooltip\/cutscene for the item is wrong and its fine to turn in 5<\/span>)<\/li>\n
- 1 Underworld Syndicate Plan = 25 Reputation Points (with my boosts gave me 43<\/span>)<\/li>\n
