Grade 1 Crafting Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We start on Ord Mantell.<br \/>\nOn Ord Mantell, Quick Travel to Oradam Village, then travel West to Savrip Island.<br \/>\nOn Savrip Island there are Silver and Gold level Savrips, giant beasts waiting to be defeated.<br \/>\nDefeat the Savrips for loot and to gather materials they drop.<br \/>\nThis is a great location for Grade 1 Bio mats.<br \/>\nTravel around the Island in a Clockwise manner, rinse, and repeat!<\/p>\n<p>Next, we travel to Tython.<br \/>\nTython includes Scavenging materials in a heroic which you can pick up at the Jedi Temple on the second floor if you are a Jedi class.<br \/>\nIf you are a Jedi class, pick up the heroic, then use the heroic transport either next to the mission or in your Inventory.<br \/>\nIf you are NOT a Jedi class, travel to the Ruins of Kaleth.<br \/>\nThe entrance to the cave is near -699 (X), 36 (Y).<br \/>\nThere are Silver and Gold level Droids throughout the cave.<br \/>\nDefeat the droids to gather their materials.<br \/>\nThis is a great location for Grade 1 Scavenging mats.<br \/>\nTravel to the end of the cave, turn around, and continue!<br \/>\nThe respawn rate on Ord Mantell and Tython is very high, so you should have no trouble finding NPC&#8217;s to loot.<br \/>\nUse these areas for targeted gathering.<\/p>\n<p>We end with Coruscant.<br \/>\nWhen looking for Bio mats, travel to the Works.<br \/>\nNot only are there NPCs you can loot, there are also nodes to collect from for Bio, Scav, and Slicing.<br \/>\nIf you&#8217;re looking for Arch nodes, travel to the Jedi Temple and be sure to check each room.<br \/>\nThe other useful areas for a mix of mats are the Black Sun Territory, Justicar Territory, and the Old Galactic Market.<br \/>\nOverall, it is recommended you use Coruscant as a farming location for Grade 1 materials if you are looking for general materials.<\/p>\n<p>This has been another entry of the Gryphon&#8217;s Tome, Volume 1, Materials! island<br \/>\nto the East of the Old Muckworks.<\/p>\n<p>Korriban is next and has very few materials to farm<br \/>\nTry the Wilds and go East when you Quick Travel in.<br \/>\nThere are Tuk&#8217;ata you can defeat and farm.<br \/>\nYou can also try the heroic area<br \/>\naccessed through the Tomb of Tulak Hord<br \/>\nat -20 (X) and 66 (Y).<br \/>\nOnce you&#8217;re in the Tomb, take out the droids for materials!<\/p>\n<p>The best location for Grade 1 Materials on the Imperial side is Dromund Kaas.<br \/>\nGo through the heroic area, take out the beasts, farm, then take the on<br \/>\nand you&#8217;ll find many material farmers skip it.<br \/>\nThe trick for Ilum is knowing where to look.<br \/>\nTravel to the two heroic areas for the best material gathering.<br \/>\nOne is South of the Republic Base Camp<br \/>\nand the other is North of the Imperial Base Camp.<br \/>\nIn the heroic areas, you&#8217;ll find a variety of materials.<br \/>\nthat Ilum does not have much in the way of bio materials outside of NPCs.<br \/>\nVisit Ilum if you&#8217;re looking for Slicing,<br \/>\nScavenging, and sometimes Arch.<\/p>\n<p>Next is Makeb, a polarizing planet for prospecting players.<br \/>\n(look at that alliteration!)<br \/>\nIf you&#8217;re looking for bio mats in particular,<br \/>\ngo to the Volcanic Mesa.<br \/>\nThere are NPCs you can defeat and gather from,<br minimal nodes or farmable NPCs.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a secondary planet, Rishi, that has more nodes, but they&#8217;re spread out.<\/p>\n<p>If you are searching for Grade 8 mats, go to Yavin 4.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s the best place for Grade 8 mats.<br \/>\nNot only are there nodes everywhere with quick respawn rates,<br \/>\nbut you can run the dailies and get Conquest Points<br \/>\nwhile gathering materials.<\/p>\n<p>Yavin 4 is probably the most complete gathering spot in the game,<br \/>\nthough more spread out than locations like Zakuul<br \/>\nand with a slower node respawn rate than Darvannis.<\/p>\n<p>Your best bet for Arch nodes is the Temple Ruins<br \/>\nwhere you can also loot and gather from Massassi.<br \/>\nFor bio nodes, focus in the Swamps.<\/p>\n<p>For scav, look in the Massassi village in the Temple Ruins map.<br \/>\nAnd for a mix, go to the Training grounds!<br \/>\nOverall, Yavin 4 is a one-stop shop for grade 8 materials with minimal easy for a group to gather in the same instance.<br \/>\nIf you&#8217;re looking for Slicing, and to a degree Scav, go to the Undercity.<br \/>\nSlicing there will make you rich in an hour.<br \/>\nThis toon isn&#8217;t a slicer, just trust me, go to Zakuul.<br \/>\nAccessing Zakuul can be an issue because you have to reach endgame to travel there.<br \/>\nOtherwise, just enjoy this few nodes that it is the opposite of efficient.<br \/>\nIf you are going to gather, be focused about it.<br \/>\nBio and Scav mats can be found near the farms and Arch mats in the Jedi Temple.<br
